QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Nov 27 2016, 07:44 PM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Nov 27 2016, 07:38 PM) Hmm, interesting. How is it different from a normal tie fighter? They've always filled the land based fighter role in previous media.
I believe the Sticker is solely a land based fighter and is faster than the Tie Interceptor, I'm not sure if it has shields but looks like it could support a light shield generator if it has one. I think other then that it functions no differently than any other Tie Fighter. Hmmm, quick! To the Wookiepedia! Found it! Very interesting. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE%20Striker

Sounds like it's more aerodynamic for planetary physics and more cargo room, Khajiit guesses for when one of those shuttles are unavailable

QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Nov 27 2016, 08:38 PM) QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Nov 27 2016, 07:01 PM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Nov 27 2016, 06:14 PM) What kind of tie fighter is that?! It's the Tie Striker, from what I've been able to gather it's the Imperial's suborbital (or land based) fighter. I've been trying to get a hold of one but could never get enough money to get it....WELL that ended today . Hmm, interesting. How is it different from a normal tie fighter? They've always filled the land based fighter role in previous media. QUOTE(mALX @ Nov 27 2016, 07:32 PM) I'll help anyway I can! I can make you a good starting armor/weapon for when you first get out of Coldharbour if you would like, and give you a stock of lockpicks, etc. Anything you need enchanted (etc).
(whatever style you want on the armor if you have a preference)
Cool. This one is debating between running a Breton or Khajiit Nightblade. Of course it'll probably take him a while to decide. Gotta play with the character creator and if it's anything like past games then it will take Khajiit a few hours! The CharGen in ESO takes me hours every time. There are so many ways to customize for each body part - even hands and feet! And 8 different voice choices, etc. You can have 8 different characters at one time, and delete 3 per day if you aren't happy with something you have done with a character. (so you could test out both the Khajiit and Breton if you wanted) Also, if you have put too much time and effort into a character and don't want to just toss them out, you can (via the Crown Store and Crown Points) change their race, sex, appearance, etc.

Excellent. This one looks forward to giving it a whirl!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 28 2016, 12:54 PM) Question: Is the Tie Defender canon?
Khajiit has been pondering a lot about the lore lately. See his post in the StarWars thread. This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Nov 28 2016, 08:21 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 28 2016, 01:19 PM) I skimmed it.
The Tie Defender though came way before Disney´s involvement. It´s present in the Rebellion game for the PC by LucasArts.
Well if it's not in the films or the TV show, Khajiit believes it's considered not canon This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Nov 28 2016, 08:23 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 28 2016, 01:23 PM) Well I´m not sure I have spotted a Tie Defender in the movies (and I´m talkins striktly the original ones) but I know I´ve seen the Tie Interceptor somewhere.
Yes the Tie Intercepter was in RotJ.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 28 2016, 01:29 PM) And also the Tie Bomber. That one was right at the start with A New Hope Yep and also when they were bombing the asteroids hoping to scare out the Falcon in TESB!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Nov 28 2016, 01:35 PM) TES:B? Is that a follow-up to TES:S(kyrim)? Lol, yeah! TES:Battleborn! You play a long lost member of the Battlebon Clan, get beat up by a little girl, mock old women, and generally see how much of an arse you can be! Sounds like lots of fun!
