I would certainly recommend it. And then decide on the two that follow it.
I love the books. The characters are pretty screwed up(but I still think they're great, for the most part), but the setup pretty much makes it necessary. Got a couple of issues with the books, but who's ever read a flawless book? -------------------- A mind without purpose will walk in dark places
