QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Mar 8 2017, 05:49 AM) QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 7 2017, 02:45 PM) For those of us not in the know: what does that mean?
Means that there is a lot of nonsense Khajiit is having to put up with and it's getting tiresome. Basically one of the main reasons I'm legitimately thinking of taking up the gloves again, so to speak. Gotta let that aggression out one way or the other. Keep your head up though, cat-man; fists up, chin down and eyes straight ahead and all that. 👉🌚👉

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 8 2017, 06:09 AM) And weight on front leg to enable kick with back leg on knee Lol Always preferred the inside thigh kick myself. Very good for being a nuisance to your unsuspecting friends

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 8 2017, 06:21 AM) Knee damage is quite effective. I noticed that when I had my motorcycle accident last spring I liked the light "fake" low kick quickly followed up by a hard outer thigh kick or possibly an even higher kick. I'm a low kick guy though. Effective and easy to pull off. That smacks of Kyokushin karate to me. I had a senior (senpai) who used to be a student of it; I remember him doing stuff that was similar to what you said. It was very fast though, almost machine-gun like; one on the outer thigh, followed up by another one on either your liver or your neck. One time he did all of three. I wasn't really much of a kicker back then (still not actually, leaning more towards boxing-grappling), but a front kick to one's sternum or the upper thigh is growing on me.

QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Mar 7 2017, 05:35 PM) QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Mar 7 2017, 09:24 AM) As I combed my hair this morning, which isn't exactly a quick process, I found myself missing the days when I had my hair so short it didn't need to be combed That's funny because some times when combing his hair, Khajiit misses when it was long enough to braid! Only sometimes though, it was a hassle the majority of the time. The girls liked playing with it though, so that was a plus! Heh, I'm pretty sure that I'd miss my hair if I cut it back, so I'm gonna have to keep it, let it grow a little longer(there's this one patch that's not quite long enough to tie back with the rest).

QUOTE(mirocu @ Mar 8 2017, 06:44 AM) Kyokushin it is indeed. I guess your trainer also did the oh so famous axe kick? I kinda like that Dolph Lundgren is a practitioner of this style. He came to the school where I upgraded once but since I wasn't a student at that school I wasn't there and thus didn't meet him Sometimes, if the attack could reach his target lol His main go-to 'ultimate' was the do mawashi geri, though. I'm probably a little biased since I live in Japan, but I seriously think Kyokushin and Judo should be in the repertoire of anyone who wants to learn self-defense, particularly the latter. Not only does Judo straighten one out through its training regime, but the effectiveness of it in any scenario just can't be denied.

I agree. I even read about someone who was black belt in both Kyokushin and Judo and he said Judo is superior, provided one can get close enough and not get hit first of course. Sigh. Wish I could go live in Japan for a year or so. You know, because of the food.... *hrrm* QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Mar 8 2017, 01:46 AM) Went to the dentist today to get a couple of teeth pulled, well my dad does have an extra set of dentures with my name on it . Ugh. Getting teeth pulled? Unless you're 8, I feel for you, man. This post has been edited by mirocu: Mar 8 2017, 08:48 AM
