@SubRosa - while Ally found the teddy bear cute, the same couldn't be said for the swampfolk's rifle.

I've never noticed "Help us" before either and probably wouldn't if I didn't rotate the camera around to take a pic. It's not visible from the distance obviously, because it doesn't show up in the Fog screenshot.

At the start of PL there are around 20 friendly NPCs (including named tribals) but as you progress and do or not do some quests, only 5 or 6 remain alive, well slightly more if you keep friendly relations with the tribals.

@TheCheshireKhajiit - Ally & Nadine never stay in the Capital Wasteland for a long time. I roleplay that as they travel back, they trade some goodies from Point Lookout with the local mod-added merchant (shown below). Ally also clears up some nearby places of raiders and other pests.

@Acadian - Ally occasionally plays Hide & Seek or Tag with Kenny but because her Sneak skill is very high, in the end she has to give up else Kenny never finds her. Of course the boy thinks that it was him who found her and what's better than to make a child smile.

To who belongs the shadow?

Some explaining for those not familiar with FO3. On Ally's right you see a shadow of the person wearing a hat. Well, that's the mysterious stranger - if you take the corresponding perk, the helpful stranger in a raincoat and a fedora on his head occasionally appears and helps you against your enemies. Sometimes it happens that your PC can kill the enemy before the MS shows up which is what happened in that case but the game doesn't recognize that fast enough and he spawns nonetheless, or at least his shadow does. Another possible theory is that he got stuck behind some wall, that's why we only see his shadow.

Anyway, that's how he looks like unshadowed, Ally managed to capture his face a while ago.

I'm with SubRosa - that is indeed a neat hat on Jimmy. Hey, did Ally go back to green for her hair? I remember her flat top was green but I sort of thought her dreads were black? Love the shot of Ally settled in behind that big gun with an ominous smile on her face!

@SubRosa - Obama! The civil war hat is my addition, by default Jimmy Morgan wears a roving trader hat but it felt better to wear something original from Point Lookout.

@Acadian - her hair was always green but the flattop was much more bright than dreds which are dark green. Some hairstyles appear darker than other ones without changing color.

@Renee - yep, chances are that Ally and Janet wouldn't be friends if they met in some Talon camp but if they met somewhere where Janet would be undercover and Ally just passing through, they might swap some stories over a few beers.

Yes, a guard that needs no sleep is handy indeed! Your game looks great - and so does Ally. Nice shot of Ally showing off her nice bu- err, doing jumping jacks.

At first I thought Barney might be a recently unemployed security guard from Black Mesa.

Ally does an ugly job with grace.

@Acadian - I figured that girls need someone to watch over them as they sleep. Though Nadine never sleeps in the base game and making her to sleep is complicated because she is the same NPC in two different cells, I roleplay that she sleeps as well. I actually tried to mod her to sleep but failed, then I read on the Nexus that it's do-able but very complicated so for now I'm okay with imagining that she sleeps too.

The place where Ally is jumping, is a modded engine room of the Duchess Gambit, I changed it into a bedroom and storage. The place is quest-related but since the MQ is long over in Ally's game, it was safe to mod.
