In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Did Acadian just change from red to blue? Is this somehow political? Did Trump have anything to do with it?

Ohh QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Oct 30 2017, 08:58 PM) Sorry to hear about your girl band Yeah I don't know what has happened. Sometimes there is info to be had in the comment section at youtube, but I haven't seen anything about why allofasudden two members are missing in the group's bio. Same thing happened to 9Muses though, may be the case of poor management...

What the...?????? Turned on the computer this morning. Launched Firefox. Navigated to YouTube. Ads!!!!!! My ad blocker of choice (Adblocker Ultimate), while enabled, no longer functions. Doesn't seem to work anywhere else either. Removed and reinstalled it. Ads!!!! Not sure what's up. A web search unearthed nothing. Any other Firefox users have this issue?
(Thankfully Brave browser, with its built-in ad blocker, functions correctly. Maybe I'll make the switch after all, should the Firefox issue prove permanent rather than temporary.)
ADDENDUM: I disabled Adblocker Ultimate and enabled my old standby, Ad Block Plus. ABP still works. Thing is, it is labeled "LEGACY" so will cease to function with the release of Firefox v5.7 in two weeks. I'm hoping Ultimate simply needs an update rather than having been deliberately made non functional. Time will tell, I reckon.

Sometimes this happens to me too. I just close every window and re-launch the browser and Adblock is back up.

A similar thing has been happening to me with Firefox/NoScript (which I don't run to block ads per se, but I so seriously don't want their scripts running). It's always proved easy to re-enable it, though (going to NoScript site, clicking re-install, does it in an instant). And it too is marked down as LEGACY. But this seems to have stopped in the past week. So I'd say this is more along the lines of FF v5.7 prelaunch glitches - for a start, NoScript is just too important a security add-on to be completely sabotaged. (Backing up my NoScript whitelist, tho, just in case the changeover is non-smooth...)

Yeah, I too wondered if it had something to do with preparation for the upcoming release of Firefox 57, which I admit I'm not looking forward too as it makes one of my favorite add-ons obsolete, with no alternative in sight. As far as Adblocker Ultimate is concerned, I switched back to it tonight, closed and relaunched Firefox...voila, it works again.
