I just got back from the range. I spent a while using just iron sights, and it came out pretty well. Then I switched to the Eotech. I did better with iron sights! Maybe they forced me to concentrate more.

I also finally broke down and ordered this beauty. It turned out to be $200 cheaper buying it from my gun store and having them order it, than it would have been if I had bought it direct from Daniel Defense's website. Of course they have to order it and get it shipped. The last time when I bought my Sig that took about a week.

Finally, a new rifle means a new optic. I looked at a lot of the ones they had at the shop. I fell in love with The Vortex Razor AMD UH-1. It feels very open, so I can still see peripherally very well when I am looking down it. The reticle is not too big (my Eotech seems to cover up the target sometimes). And you can even use the different points on the reticle for different ranges. The top of the reticle for 50, the middle for 25, and the bottom for 10 yards.

I LOVE how simple the AR-15 can be dissembled and reassembled so quickly .

Only about half a dozen pieces, not counting the upper and lower. It is one of the things I love about ARs. They are simple and they work.

My Colt is awesome! I love its weight, its color (blued) and everything about it! It just feels so right in the hand! The only cloud in the sky is the hammer as I've complained about already. It's the only thing that makes the gun feel meh. Other than that it shoots great and I love cocking the hammer and pulling the trigger which btw has a very good feel to it.

Put 54 rounds through it yesterday and I discovered why I was missing so much with the black powder gun; it's so much easier using both hands! Like the real version it also prints high. Not as high but still a bit high. I like that though.

How long does it take you to load all of the chambers?

About 10-15 secs I reckon. And I don't remove the dummy shells, I just open up the loading gate and put the pellets into them where they are.

Wanna post a pic but you guys already know what it looks like. It's very nice and blue in real light which cannot be seen in the pic I've posted from the website though, so mebbe I should post my own anyway.
