I'm great! I've found myself at university, at long last, and I've gotten pretty heavily involved with NationStates RP alongside student radio. Great fun.

Honestly? I figure it's not a lot of effort to check in a few times a day, and I must admit I'm sentimental about the ol' Chorrol forums. I think I'll be around more often than not. If you want my discord or other means of communication, too, just shoot me a PM.

Well poot! Got an automated call from Entergy. Power will be shut off for four hours beginning 9am tomorrow while they relocate power lines in conjunction with road work. Had I known this yesterday I would have moved errand day from today until tomorrow.

Woke hours before dawn early Sunday to a mild bass rumble and faint pulsing light from somewhere outside. Looked out the living room window. Saw a large fire engine parked on the road directly in front of my house, its dome shaped top light producing a pulsing red glow. Other than the dome light and a few weak safety lights the vehicle was completely dark. No one was in its immediate vicinity. Turned my eyes right. Saw a car-size vehicle at the intersection with several pulsing blue lights. People were standing next to it.

Those vehicles stayed there for ages. I nodded off at some point. Woke while still pitch dark. They were gone. But...several pickup trucks were paused on the road in front of my house. They didn't stay long.

When it finally became light enough to see I ventured outside. Saw no oddness anywhere nearby. No idea what might have happened, if anything, during the night.

Always wondered, Decrepit. Have you been to the military? The way you set up your posts reminds me of a military report.

When people ask me what floats my boat, I answer "water" and then they look at me funny.
