I'm looking through a catalog with a lot of stuff I want in it(lol) and they have hunting gear... but only two of the jackets have any visibility colors.

We always just wore a common safety orange vest over our camo. I always thought wearing camo was kinda silly anyway, because “hunting” deer around here actually means “sniping” deer from inside a small, stilted building.

Yeah when I was in PA hunting deer meant shooting them at half click from a hollowed out bush. Lol.

You're supposed to mark your spot though so hunters know you're there.

This bodes ill for the free unrestricted modding community, me thinks. Certain for future titles.

I doubt that last part. GamesPass allows for modding; they have modding for FO4 and Skyrim on Xbox, and the recent Halo collection supports modding.

That totally depends on whether you wanna risk getting shot or not

Modding is more restricted on Xbox though.

And they'll certainly expand the CC, and I'm still convinced they'll scrap free modding in favor of CC in the next title.

I refuse to pay for mods, and unmodded Bethesda games are awful for me to play, so I might just be done with them.

What a thing to wake up to! Microsoft buying Bethesda is a huuuge deal! I can’t even begin to wrap my mind around what all this could mean. The end of free modding. A sequel to New Vegas. A BGS style upgrade to The Outer Worlds by Obsidian, who is now a sister company to Bethesda. This is wild!

I was just looking through Engelsons' mail order catalog. Hunting stuff.

I can't afford to buy an actual hunting rifle anyway right now, nor do I have anywhere to shoot one. Well, we have a range nearby but I think you gotta be a member, and [censored] that.

Though I got a feeling I'm gonna end up with a bunch of hunting rifles if my in laws pass. FIL has a few nice Remingtons. Ugh the registration sounds like a nightmare.

Well, in order for them to become yours you HAVE TO have a hunting exam. No ifs, butts or maybes. Only way.

I wouldn't mind taking the hunting exam, but I'd probably fail it. Hard.

I barely passed the one in PA. Do note I didn't fail any of the theory questions, it was the "is this a safe shot" picture questions. I failed all four of them. All of them were safe shots, I said no.

Thinking about it, I don't think MIL has taken the hunting exam either.

I've only seen the guns once. Mikael had Dad pull them out of the safe on my first trip there to show off the shinies when I was visiting. We spent that evening sharing hunting stories and I showed him on the map where Remington and the like were located, as well as the places I've lived. Then Mom brought out the baby pictures.

Ha.

But no, dealing with them when FIL dies might be a hassle. There's already going to be two properties to sell, plus those, plus a lot of other crap. How does one even go about selling firearms in this country? o.o
