In laws went to visit sister in law Friday.

In laws found out someone at the hospice tested positive.

Sister in law is positive too now.

In laws have to wait til they test negative before they can leave the house.

I can't go anywhere or do anything now because they do our driving.

Balls.

In laws are both over 70 but haven't gotten a chance to get vaccinated yet.

Sister in law is terminal and not vaccinated. Don't think they planned on going it either. This country is weird with who it picks.

Am in the process of publishing another video on YouTube. They've added a new step to the process. Now, after filling out name, description, tags and so on in step one, then end-cards / etc. in step two, there a new third step added before the final publish/schedule step. They check for copyrighted material. I see this as potentially positive for many creators, but full of potential gotchas for some, depending on how it's implemented, as YT has in the past tagged videos for violations that ought to be 'fair use'. We shall see, I reckon.

Yeah they added that a while ago.

Fair use constitutes a lot of things under 30 seconds, but not everything.

My favorite copyright spent though was Herman from Dragonforce getting stricken/banned on twitch for playing his own song.

Algorithms are stupid. Literally. A program is only as intelligent as the people programming it.

Just watched the volcano eruption on Iceland this Friday. It wasn't one of those mega-spectacular ones we're used to but rather, as the filmcrew described it, a tourist-friendly kind of erupton

Lol tourist friendly. Last time that thing erupted flights everywhere got delayed and stuff.

Not the same volcano. This is a new and a much, much smaller one.

Eep! Headache behind one eye sound to close too a migraine. So does the duration. As a migraine sufferer, I don't wish that on anyone, myself included. Are one-sided 'headaches' common for you?

I have a history of migraines. That's probably what it was.

But it'll make my shotgun look even more badass...and make it extremely heavy .

Received my second Covid vaccination this morning! In two weeks...not much really. I'll still wear a mask when out and about. Then again, our state is ending mandatory mask wearing beginning next month. Being fully vaccinated allows me to feel somewhat safer amongst non-maskers.

I hate drum mags

They're tacky looking imo, and they jam. Really, really easily at that.

That said I'm about halfway through modding an Oblivion install.

The Thompson had a drum mag which it's famous for in gangster movies. But the army NEVER used that, they used straight mags that would feed properly and were much faster and easier to load. It always baffled me that Fallout 3 combat shotguns had drum mags because their inherent unreliability. Then I remembered Fallout 3 is a game...

Hehe.

I was having a heck of a time getting the UI mod installed. Kept doing stupid stuff. I don't remember it being this big a pain in the rear to install before.

But I got it in the end. Default UI looks atrocious. It was designed for consoles and doesn't fit well with a keyboard and mouse. Skyrim also has this problem, in as much as I use at least 4 mods to fix it. -_-
