I've not watched a lot of YouTube today, am text narrating a YouTube vid instead. But what I watched has been ad-free. Then again, I use Firefox. If any browser can hold off add onslaught, it's Firefox. Brave Browser ought to be pretty solid to, as ad blocking is baked into it by default.

<sighs> Came SO close to having a first draft of my next YT TS2021 episode rendered during supper. Then with little more than three minutes left to add text to, the Render Buffer hit full. I needed to clear it and re-render the video from scratch. At an hour in length, rendering takes forever. I set it to render while I ate supper. That meal at an end, teeth brushed, I returned to the computer. Memory error. Filmora had stopped rendering, only a few minutes into the video. Had to exit out and restart the program. Did so. My video is doing okay, but has a LONG way to go before playback render finishes. Gonna be a long evening, I suspect.

Have to besikta my car today. Ugh. Usually never goes well. Last year they didn't find anything, until they themselves broke one of my brake lines. So it was bad but still, nothing else.

I bet today will be that something else.

Well poot! Unpacked my recently arrived new computer desk. Planned to assemble it before lunch. Only, there is no bag/container of bolts, washers and assembly tool!. Don't want to return the desk as it meets my needs, or will when assembled. Sent a 'letter' to the seller via New Egg just now. Let's hope this will be a quick, easy fix. It's always something, it seems.

I sure wish we had an IKEA here. Closest one is over an hour away. My car is too small to cart the items I'd like to buy there. Nor do they ship/deliver to my area.

Closest IKEA to me is an hour and a half and they don't deliver at all. Instead they do in store pickup.

Not having the tool is one thing, I never use those as they're usually garbage. But not having the hardware at all is a problem.

I find they do the job they're intended for. Problem is you often wind up having loads of them after a few years

See, I find they're poor quality and like to strip nuts.

I just break out my good set of hex keys. Because that's all they ever use. Hex keys. I have a good, high quality set of them. Long handles too, so it's easier to use.
