This is strictly speaking a more Skyrim-specific post but it doesn't really fit over there so...

...One of the things I love about the game - (and to a lesser extent it was like this in Oblivion as well) - is that you can go into a seemingly innocuous cave opening or what have you, and end up not seeing daylight again for like 2 or 3 hours IRL time, I love that.

For example the Alftand\Blackreach quests - I've been in this complex, in real time, for somewhere in the region of 5 hours - and it's so cool.

Skyrim is a bloody fabulous game.

Oblivion was great when I first played it too. I was amazed at how good it was. It's still good, I ust can't stick with it like I do with skyrim.

Not sure why. Maybe I got all my oblivion out of me in between. Because I used to play it that same amount of time.

I have the same sentiment - but the other way around. Skyrim is just lacking something... Oh - I know! It isn't Oblivion.

I just prefer Skyrim. Been playing TES since Morrowind but I've got the most hours in Skyrim.

There's just more I can do with it. I don't even follow the quests anymore lol.

Yep. Be moving up there in October. Can't wait to be near family again and have Thanksgiving and Christmas again.

I always thought Kansas should have been more popular than they were. I mean, they were really popular but I feel like it could have been more. The members are absurdly talented musicians.

People probably confuse them with other bands. Like Boston, lol
