You know how they charge more when you call after hours? He doesn't want to pay that.

And on top of it, our bathroom flooded again because the drain clogged in the shower while husbeast was showering. And he had the audacity to get peeved when I told him to shut the water off and get the F out of there.

Oh ok, I see. Yikes!

This is strictly speaking a more Skyrim-specific post but it doesn't really fit over there so...

...One of the things I love about the game - (and to a lesser extent it was like this in Oblivion as well) - is that you can go into a seemingly innocuous cave opening or what have you, and end up not seeing daylight again for like 2 or 3 hours IRL time, I love that.

For example the Alftand\Blackreach quests - I've been in this complex, in real time, for somewhere in the region of 5 hours - and it's so cool. cool.gif smile.gif

Pipes got a hard blockage about 1.2 m past the main access plate.

Probably broken pipe knowing my luck.

Exactly how Oblivion was for me when I first started 14 years ago biggrin.gif

Oblivion was great when I first played it too. I was amazed at how good it was. It's still good, I ust can't stick with it like I do with skyrim.

Not sure why. Maybe I got all my oblivion out of me in between. Because I used to play it that same amount of time.

I have the same sentiment - but the other way around. Skyrim is just lacking something... Oh - I know! It isn't Oblivion. wink.gif

I just prefer Skyrim. Been playing TES since Morrowind but I've got the most hours in Skyrim.

There's just more I can do with it. I don't even follow the quests anymore lol.

Did somebody say Kansas?!

Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high
Though my eyes could see, I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say
Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more, no
Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
Now your life's no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you
Carry on, my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry, don't you cry no more
No more

Yep. Be moving up there in October. Can't wait to be near family again and have Thanksgiving and Christmas again.

I always thought Kansas should have been more popular than they were. I mean, they were really popular but I feel like it could have been more. The members are absurdly talented musicians.

People probably confuse them with other bands. Like Boston, lol
