My friend got back home but her kids did nothing for the house. Her cat water fountain waterers and litter robot boxes are broken and there were maggots in the sink. She can't figure out how people can't not live like slobs.

Had a pretty good dinner, I also made some new and improved Pickle Bombs and this time it wasn't messy, I made a pickle scented batter and deep fried it!
I mixed it with some spicy garlic sauce and ranch dressing and it was delish! I also didn't make as much of a mess either biggrin.gif.

In American usage "pickles" are cucumbers by default, but English use of just "pickles" normally implies a mixture of pickled vegetables, which might not include any cucumber.

Use of vinegar as a preservative (or just brine for some things) is the key. And it's not just veggies, I've eaten pickled fish, eggs, and pork, although not in the same meal.

Only I used the brine in the flour to make pickle flavored dough then I simply deep fried it.
I don't know about healthy, but they were filling.

I watched Jurassic Park way more than I. Day but I loved that movie. The shot in the beginning with the spacecraft over the moon was blow-away cool! I wonder how they got permission to stand and film right where the landing and flag is huh.gif
