Edit: Keep in the boats please. Make it a diversion. Goblins are fodder anyway. Edit 2: Ok, let's slow down. We're both editing like crazy here and running in circles. Umm, I suppose I didn't make it clear. Green-Root was commenting on the ones chasing Dalrus and Eurod's force. I doubt the Sil just sent the whole army after one girl. So, what are we going to do? The original post follows below here by the way.
Yeah. Flint is going to try and talk with Voltar but I don't give it much hope. Probably Voltar will only get off his first sentence before the alarm comes in and Flint runs off to take out the catapults. Green-Root in the meantime has started his own battle.
There are two questions I want to ask here, especially to Florodine because the Sil is in command of the army, even though it is indirect command. ('I don't order lowlifes like you' sounds pretty indirect to me.)
1: Will Flint succeed at taking down the catapults? If so, will he succeed before or after the walls have been breached? Think carefully. No matter how powerful our characters are, we are outnumbered heavily.
2: The Sil had Shadowscales, Argonian assassins. Will they confront and kill Green-Root? Or will Green-Root lead them in a chase around the lake, slowly whittling down their numbers? Or will they refuse to show up at all? Will some boats escape his spear and reach the city?

heh... you could have just said it. I didn't realize they spanned the entirety of the sewers, I thought they'd just be in a section or two. This post has been edited by Soulseeker3.0: Jul 12 2007, 02:23 AM

Yeah thats why I wasn't commencing it, I was going to put in my post that its an advance guard.
Also, it will take quite some time to breach the gate, once inside, it will take them a while to push through to each new section, so it will take a few months. I think right as he is about to break into the last three sections, thats when it should end. So he will take the plaza, garden, and maybe up to market, however, the arena and temples will hold. I think the huge battle should take place in Green Emperor Way.

QUOTE(Lord Revan @ Jul 12 2007, 09:18 PM) Mallet, when is Amrita going to move? It would be kind of weird for her to sit against a now deserted shack until the catapult (probably trebuchets) bombardment ends.
oh my gosh.... someone i (sort-of) know understands and knows that there is a difference between catapults and trebuchets. I'm going to have Sodsa go to the walls and meet up with Issac, Rann, and Darus. I don't think to many people are at the Water Front anymore (Ian and Green root?). tomorrow anyhow, i can't type tonight and i have stuff to do in the morning, night

Issac, Dalrus, Rann, and Satyana are inside the Tiber Septim (the tavern in the Talos Plaza District); Flogir, Flint, and Voltar are at the walls, and Sel is nowhere to be found at the moment.
Ian, Green-Root, Amrita, Tenek (and Tenek's brother's character), and Sodsa are still in the Waterfront. Ian just started talking to Sodsa (if telling him to get inside the city is talking).
And yes, I know that a trebuchet has a longer arm and holds the boulder in a net-sack. Just like a lesser catapult, the centrifical force of the swing ejects the projectile from the rope net. The trebuchet has a longer range than other catapults because of its extended reach. Trebuchets have to be packed up to move, and unpacked to be of use (while most other catapults have wheels to make them mobile). And the trebuchet is also as tall as a siege tower sometimes.
