Though in regards to feeding, lore-wise some vampires(The order and of Cyrodiilic bloodline) have a reversed feeding because of Clavicus Vile. Not all vampires rage for blood. Some were altered to only drink a certain amount before they are fully sastified with that small portion. Though vampires drink blood mostly because of nutrition. Since they are dead, they crave the blood of the living. Since they do not age and their body aging is "paused", we can assume their bodies change as well. It explains the reason for them turning to dust upon true death. -------------------- And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed.
