I haven't got time atm to read about OB remastered. Wonder which platforms the remaster is on?

And the greatest question of all for some of us: Does this mean the game uses more than one core, no tricks?

That all sounds awesome! No more trying to install Blockhead, and I kinda dig the origin idea. Can let you really pin down a backstory for your character!

Yeah, I certainly don’t mind the addition, but it just seems an odd thing to add if it doesn’t have any bearing on gameplay or cosmetics.

The origin idea sounds like the History option in the Camarilla Edition of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

I found Robert Wisnewski just recently.

As for your character being Sheogorath; You have to complete the entire Shivering Isle quest to get that privilege. There are those, myself included, that never plan on becoming the Mad God. We must take care when visiting the Isle.

One question though, I read on the UESP that the player character height is now the same for every race. NPCs will vary in height depending on their race, but the player character's height is always the same as an Imperial's no matter which race is chosen. Is that true?

Not in the original Oblivion. I've had characters of different races and their height was consistent with the race. The player character is defined in the Constuction Set the same way as any NPC, race and physical characteristics included.
