House Designing, placement Options

How do you place items in your house where you want them? Or can you even do it? I have a 360 by the way, so I can't use hotkeys.

Don't drop items on the ground. Empty all the drawers and bullcrap items out of all your furniture and shelves. Then...designate one cabinet for Weapons, one for Bows, One for Armor, One for Potions, a Desk for Scrolls, etc. It beats putting all that crap onto the floor.

And if you don't know how to put items into cabinets and you're on the XBOX360, simply
click on the cabinet/desk----it will show you that there is nothing inside of it....then just
hit the left paddle---it will show your inventory and you just click which items you want (using the A key) and that way you can organize stuff.

Yea you kind of did miss the point. I want to decorate the house so it looks cool. I have chests already designated for all my crap, but i just wanted to throw new stuff in my house to show off to my friends.
