Really, I've found no use, except throwing them at guards...

Well, the dwemer did actually use them as siege tools, or tools to remove potential rockslides and such....but nothing else really.
they did also actually use them to make the huge underground halls that they built their large towers in....but the point of them in the game is to clear some rocks away in the ruin of Bamz-Amchzend....in the tribunal MQ. -------------------- So I have resorted to advertising. My Fanfiction.net profile, there are a few other stories there as well.
