Well, the third official mod, the Wizards Tower is out, and has been bought by quite a few people as we understand. We took the time to purchase this ourselves and inside the article you can read what we (I) thought of it.

Rane,
You probably will see this as a cheat mod.
You have both enchanting altar, and spellmaking altar in the tower. But i don't consider that much of a cheat.

If you ask me,it's stupid of Bethesda to limit the players they must join the Arcane University to enchant their items.I mean enchanting is more useful for a warrior (a nice enchanted claymore, better protection armor etc.)than to a mage (enchant robes and hood).

I'm presonaly anoyed with the enchanting system itself. You can now more easyly get a 100% Chameleon and become an absolute god, than for example in Morrowind. But that's another story.

So i probably support the Enchanting Altars included in the mod.Enchanting should be a posibility for any character, not just mages.I also think that enchanting prices and shoul raise a lot ,and values lower a lot to balance the game. But,oh well.

I think that Wizard's Tower is definalty an improvment considering the quality of Horse Armor or Orrery. This time it actualy has a purpose (Horse Armor is just a nice lokkig trinket, same goes with Orrery). But i also agree with Alex that it could be better decorated, and that raining on top of the tower is so damn anoying (Tip:There is an unofficial fix for that little problem).
