Figured out what was wrong with my son. There is "something" in the kitchen he didn't like. I moved us to the living room and now he's eating. Kids are weird.

My son was afraid of his hobby horse, thought its painted teeth were going to bite him in the night. He always gave me a hard time about going to bed, so I bought him all kinds of children's night lights thinking he was afraid of the dark.

He kept dragging the hobby horse out of his room, (I thought to play with it). I kept dragging it back in there at night. I was dragging it back into his room one night and it was bouncing up and down with the head facing him - this horse made clopping and whinny sounds when it bounced. He started pointing at it and shrieking.

Long story short, moved the hobby horse out of the house (onto the porch) and had no issues getting him to bed after that.

I have no idea why my son doesn't like my mom's kitchen. It's around the table area. I tried to sit him at the table but he flipped out.

Maybe she makes him do "Time Out" there.
