I do believe that people in charge have special courses where they go to learn how best to *extract-the-urine out of the people that actually have to

I forgot to mention the BEST part....
So- as noted- it is a call center, with people on the telephone many hours a day.  And also of course- working on computers, looking up information and typing into forms.  And because of the clunkiness of the new telephone software, I am having to hook up dual monitors for all 60 people.  But that STILL isn't the best part....
So- because of the way the folks have to work, they use headsets with mics plugged into the telephones.  And because we got new and completely different phones and because I am the sort of person who suspects EVERYTHING- including myself....  I tested the current headsets with the new telephones.  And they DO NOT WORK!
And this was like 6 months ago.  And I told people.  And they tried to tell people.  And we kept getting "Oh- it will be fine."
So last week, we got these little adapters to make the old headsets work with the new phones.  And I was planning to test one- because... well- see above.
But lots of other stuff intervened- like hooking up second monitors for everyone.  And then we get the word- "Send the adapters back.  They don't work."
Now I  have no idea how many millions were spent on the new phones and phone infrastructure and new phone software.  But then--- then---- they want to cheap out on headsets....  I just.......  I am going to play Borderlands 2 now, where I can blow things up.
