mALX: That is exactly what Dad did with that Raider Lair. He walked right down the middle of it! I was just facepalming the entire time. Fawkes was just standing there at the gate outside Raven Rock. I ran forward, and the next thing I knew he was forcing me into conversation. I got out of it quick enough to get some pictures though. I was thinking that same thing about the Deathclaw in Raven Rock. It would have been a lot of fun to turn him loose in the labs, with all those Enclave scientists and soldiers in there. Acadian: That is one of the few places in the game where you can loose a Deathclaw without having it attack you. Or at least it has never done that in any of my playthroughs. So I just love setting it off on a rampage. They are one of the coolest critters I have ever seen in a game. I think the Solstheim version is the post-explosion Raven Rock from FO3... Winter Wolf: Flying Deathclaws! The earthbound ones are bad enough! It must have been the result of a Deathclawnado! QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 1 2015, 07:43 AM) Haley! Best armor and weapon repair in the game! I come back to Point Lookout just to get him to repair my stuff for me, lol. (One reason to complete the main questline in Point Lookout so I can have the free passage back and forth, lol). My favorite is "have you seen Persephone" - that grinning skeleton, and Ally's expression exactly fits the caption! All the shots are awesome, though they really show how creepy the vibe of that place is somehow.

SubRosa - Nice trophy room! Paladins? Telvanni Wizards? Jedi Knights? Woot! Optimus Steam Centurian! Tiltrotors in the attack! I’ve seen and heard bits of Optimus Prime in (probably your) vids before – he seems way cool. So. . . does that wrap things up for the Girl in Black?

Not to mention the hat from Stinky's 18th birthday party, and a bedload of teddy bears! D'aaaawwwww! It's Liberty Prime! Ooh, great shot of the Assault on the Enclave! IMHO, following Liberty Prime across that bridge was the greatest moment in any video game EVAH (!); followed closely by the implosion of Raven Rock! And you've got some of his dialogue too!!!! I can't wait to see how much you were able to capture of it on film !!!!!! OMG, look how tiny the BOS guy looks compared to Liberty Prime !!!! Oh man, I know it is impossible to catch the full effect - car pieces flying through the air, Helicopters crashing around you, the explosions shaking the ground beneath you - that scene is spectacular !!!!! But you came as close as possible here, this is the closest I've seen any snapshot come to the excitement of that moment !!! Helicopter blades burning on the ground in the backdrop here, and over by the bridge a live helicopter hovering - run back and shoot it down!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!!! Oh, I've never been close enough to see him take down the barrier! This is awesome! OMG, he throws a nuke? I didn't know that !!! He's going to blow up the helicopter !!!! WOO HOO !!!! YES !!! Autumn's raincoat and special pistol, ftw! Seeing that statue as I died the first time I played (before Broken Steel came out and brings you back to life) - that scene was overwhelming to watch as you slid down and saw that statue fading away, then realized you had died - HUGE scene !!!! So glad you captured that scene! It was an emotional moment, at least for me it was. Awesome, AWESOME update !!!!!

Awesome pics SubRosa. You should know better than doing that to mALX. Liberty Prime. Of all things. The poor girl has passed out and we are now ringing for medical attention. mALX, mALX, are you alright?!! That is so neat to see Liberty (Optimus, lol) throw the nuke. You capture the moment amazingly well. Lookout out pesky rabbits! What chance did Autumn have? Hecate had fire burning inside her like hot lead. I love that ending of the main game. Liberty thought he was attacking the chinese while we were evading-shooting the muties and the enclave. The big tin-head had know idea what was going on! ** Loved the pics Lopov! The milkman one was sooooo cool. You have totally captured the misty, sinister feel to the landscape. And Ally having a little chat while sitting down. That must have been a interesting conversation! And that shootout with the Scrappers beside that little dock. That is exactly what happen to Ben when he was down there. The first one fell backwards in the same way! Lopov – Keeping the streets safe? Wow, Smuggler’s demise is a fabulous action shot! Ally on the table – Hey, short girls gotta hop up onto things to get better shooting angles. Or so I’m told. Aww, playing with the kid and the gnome. That hat looks good on Ally! My goodness! Ally found a crashed jet in the middle of Dementia!

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 3 2015, 07:58 PM) The two shots that stand out the most to me the most in this set were Hecate running side by side with Liberty Prime and that spectacular Ground Zero shot! You nailed it entirely with this one shot, what a moment that was! - THIS is how crossing that bridge behind Liberty Prime looked to me the first time I played it; with the massive explosions from the helicopters and cars all around and parts flying everywhere (of course on a smaller scale because it wasn't enough to kill Liberty Prime in that battle). That shot with Hecate and Liberty Prime - she somehow looks the same size as him in that screen, but it has to be a trick of the distance from the camera causing that because a few shots later you see the troops looking like ants around Liberty Prime's feet. The epic battles in Fallout 3 were what set it apart from any other game I've ever played in my life; and you really captured the essence of that in this one screen so well!!! All these shots are great, but that shot goes down as one of my all time favorites. One thing I missed seeing ... is Hecate not going to climb over the hill behind Liberty Prime's severed head and find that unique gun off the map? Now THAT I remember! I must have missed my footing a thousand times to get that gun and had to save and reload the whole way up to keep progressing, lol. ** EDIT - I missed a couple things = Hecate looks so sad when Liberty Prime is killed; and I felt that way when it happened too, so ... very apropos screen, I loved that! The other was the Dunwich building shot - Urk! That place gives me the creeps! You gave a good impression of it in that shot, it is horrible! This post has been edited by mALX: Aug 4 2015, 07:17 PM

QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 3 2015, 08:06 AM) Street CleanerSmuggler's demiseThe Calvert MansionAlly on the tableWitness of the executionThis is a new thing for me in Point Lookout. As you approach Herzog's mine, the scripted execution occurs up there, I was lucky to spot it. If you search the victim's remains, you find out that his own brother killed him because he stole from their family. Child and Child at HeartOld man Herzog and his hat on Ally's headCrashed Jet These are all such great shots for capturing the mood of Point Lookout! That Inn ALWAYS has some varmit that needs wiping out around it, but where else can one sleep while in Point Lookout? LOVED Ally on the table! Oooh, and she got a Tribal! This execution is something I have yet to see in Point Lookout, I knew nothing about it! Kenny! I hope Ally found his teddy bear for him! Yep, old man Herzog most def hung himself; but he left a good hat and a bottle of moonshine for some nice person to find when they come along, (if they make it through the Mirelurks, lol). That crashed jet is just loaded with loot scattered around it, but the ghouls nearby don't make scarfing it all up very easy! Great shots, you have an amazing knack for capturing the mood fo that place - one of my least favorite of the DLC because of that mood, lol.

My favorite shots are those showing the orbital strike and the destruction which follows, it almost looks like another game. I'll definitely use Ground Zero as a background on my laptop in the future. Woe to the Enclave, Hecate now has a new grudge against them. QUOTE(mirocu @ Aug 3 2015, 03:00 PM) QUOTE(Lopov @ Aug 3 2015, 02:06 PM) I saw this too and on my very first trip to Lookout I was hoping to encounter the killer smuggler up there but everything is scripted, so he disappears afterwards. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Aug 3 2015, 05:38 PM) You found the crashed jet. There pilot is not too far away, hanging from a tree by his parachute. I was looking for him up there but obviously missed him. Will check on him next time when Ally is in that area. QUOTE(Acadian @ Aug 3 2015, 07:20 PM) Wow, Smuggler’s demise is a fabulous action shot! My goodness! Ally found a crashed jet in the middle of Dementia! I also like Smuggler's demise, it's one of my favorite Ally's action shots. Point Lookout is indeed similar to Dementia at some points. Kenny! I hope Ally found his teddy bear for him! She found his teddy indeed. Speaking of places to sleep, Ally actually never slept in the Homestead Motel, mostly because of The Blanket mod which allows you to sleep anywhere and most of the time she crashed at Haley's place.
