7:11 PM, First Seed 2, 3rd Era 434 Days Paaed: 188 Level: 8 Gold: 224 Bounty: 500 Kahreem of Weet is headed toward Cheydinhal, on a horse he "borrowed" from an Imperial guard. Right now he feels tempted to not enter Cheydinhal at all. It would be a certain arrest. He could just keep hiding north. I think he might do that. It's ME who wants to see him deal with his current bounty, but I get the sense that he doesn't want this. So he wins, of course. One of the things that's fun about his game is he always has a bunch of keys in his inventory: about half of them are castle and guard keys. But he has a bunch of random house keys as well. He doesn't pickpocket them, instead he just manages to find them on dead NPCs, like City Swimmer, Alval Uvani, and Glarthir. This means safehouses all over Cyrodiil. But he hasn't got any Cheydinhal keys, unfortunately. Edit: he had to ditch his horse. The guard he stole it from would NOT give up. And horses can't keep running forever. But now Kahreem has found Lord Rugdump's manor. Pause game right now. This post has been edited by Renee: Jan 10 2016, 03:01 PM

That´s great that you also give some attention to ms. Gade the Third, Renee. I´m sure Kahreem and his Cheap Wine bottle can wait ------- Lothran has just come home from another expedition to Silver Tooth Cave. Goblins were slain and fun was had, and after having to run back to Bruma he made it just in time for happy hour at Olav´s Early morning he arranged what loot he carried home, restocked on potions and repaired his gear. Now he´s sitting at the Fighters Guild, waiting for the stores to open so he can sell what he doesn´t want to keep and also recharge his weapons. Even Snowflake needs it now, its 533 charges are down to 79 and much of that (but not all) was used in the cave. Edit: Lothran has just passed into his 1500th day in Cyrodiil! Happy New Year, good to see you!
3:06 pm, Heartfire 28, 3rd Era
Joan of Arkay has just found Fort Rayles, which is on a huge hill behind her new home, which is Battlehorn Castle. She's sneaking up on Rayles, slowly. She's got all the time in the world.
Her goal? She's become rather faciated with Battlehorn, she wants to see it become something. A place for others to take haven perhaps, during the Oblivion Crisis. On her return to Battlehorn, she's noticed a couple of others have moved in during her absence: a male Nord smith, and an Imperial warrior who has taken upon the role of guarding the place. This guard did not seem entirely happy to know that Joan has already claimed Battlehorn, and its deed had also been signed over to her several weeks ago. Though the guard seemed angry at her when they met, nothing untoward happened between Joanie and him.
But for her to fortify Battlehorn, she'll need (what, everybody?) ... Septims! And what better way to earn Septims than see if any places nearby can be looted, right? Hence, in she goes to Rayles.

QUOTE(Renee @ Jan 20 2016, 09:27 AM) Ha ha that sounds funny, mirocu.
t-C: Battlehorn probably isn't all that, compared to some mods out there. You aren't missing anything really. From the perspective of adding something to an Xbox game though, well it's nice to add anything if the game is on Xbox. 'Cause there ain't so much to add.
I kind of liked Battlehorn; the initial battle/the secrets/followers/add ons/continuing quests/etc. - loved making the ! I also liked that by visiting there you could trigger 2 random Oblivion gates. But the battle could have been bigger, maybe complete a longer questline to gain ownership. My biggest complaint about it was the maid coming into your bedroom area and milling around. I really prefer the Player's bedroom area to be maid-free and private = by invite only. In the Skingrad house, the only follower allowed up in the bedroom area was Vilja, because she had to sleep by her AI package, and was very vocally unhappy if thwarted from it. Second biggest complaint = the big slamming iron gate in front did not keep horses in or enemies out. 3rd complaint = the "tame" wolf attacked the unicorn Maxical rode in on. She was forced to kill the wolf, thereby upsetting the caretaker = thereby causing me to reload a save and bring the unicorn elsewhere and walk on foot to Battlehorn. It was not the most exciting DLC, but worth getting imho.

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 22 2016, 10:41 AM) QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 22 2016, 02:53 PM) mirocu, I like to hear about Lothran’s domestic routines when he’s in Bruma. Picturing him waiting for the shops to open made me smile. Congrats on the milestone!
Not sure what you mean here but I can grant your wish if you elaborate a bit And thanks! Considering he´s been running the days at speed 10 instead of 30 for a few years now, he should have passed 1500 days a long time ago Sorry! It’s not a wish, I meant that I enjoyed reading about what Lothran was doing around his home in Bruma.
