In waiting for Reaper's new gun..


Took out my Browning yesterday and annoyed my neighbours. Fifteen rounds on paper; three rounds and then check results, rinse and repeat. Love autoloaders btw biggrin.gif

Not too shabby, considering I use iron sights and tiny targets meant for air pistols. I don't shoot too far, the backyard doesn't allow for it. Maybe 50 meters. I compared the results I got with a full-size moose target and all rounds were placed within bullseye. In fact, the paper targets themselves all fit within that ring! tongue.gif

So I'm all set now. Apples are out and now we wait. Though if previous years are any indication; don't expect too much wink.gif

Certainly! But it's much more likely I'll get a buck. In fact, I saw two deer hopping about this morning but they were behind vegetation and didn't fancy coming into my line of sight. Go figure.

Thanks! I would have wanted tighter groups but I guess it's ok. Short barrel and autoloading does impact on that. But it was good enough a result for hunting so I guess I can't complain.

Most single action revolvers has that CSAA frame, I also learned that some or most of those types of revolvers you don't have to half prime the hammer to rotate the chamber, just open that side loading panel and the chamber rotates freely, no need to prime.
