You damage yarn by crushing the box.
My last Amazon order had small objects in it. A pack of wool needles. The end of the box was crushed and there was a gaping hole where one corner was supposed to be. I'm surprised those needles were still in there. I paid for a courier for home delivery and to *avoid* Postnord (our lovely mail service). Postnord doesn't deliver anything that won't fit in the mailbox, you have to go pick it up. It's due on Tuesday.
