I actually took it for weight loss. It didn't work. Lol. It was a last ditch effort before scheduling me for surgery... Of which there's 20 people in front of me. Hospital hadn't done any operations this year until a couple weeks ago because we didn't have a surgeon, and my 90 day guaranteed care turned into 11. Because I'll have to wait until after summer, since they also do no operations over the summer.

Gotta take that vacation.

Yikes! Our USA healthcare system certainly has its faults, but what you describe normally isn't among them . . . so long as you can afford a decent quality healthcare plan and/or can afford to pay sometimes high copays/deductibles. Me, I'm fortunate in having some of the best quality / least expensive healthcare coverage available to "lower class" citizens, thanks to a career in the military. My just-ended week-long hospital stay is likely to cost me nothing "out of pocket". I do have a $156US copay for my at-home IV antibiotics, and all prescription meds for that matter. Those copays vary from quite reasonable to only slightly painful. (Only one of mine falls in the "slightly painful" category.)

In any case, I sincerely hope things work out well for you in the end.

I planned to go back to the US to visit and get my sanity back but it turns out I need a new passport and that's a whole other trip. Husband's mom doesn't like me going back, and when she has to take me to get a passport she's going to find out I'm planning one...

My hate for the Doom 3 shotgun is neverending

The spread obviously, but it also looks bad. It's pump action, but it has a handle too only seen on semi autos - ON THE LEFT SIDE!! You DON'T want to have the ejector port of the left side when firing it right-handed! It doesn't make me wanna use it, contrary very much to the shotguns from Doom 2 or the shotgun in Duke Nukem 3D - all very good both in how they work but also in how they look. I'm confident with them. Not so much with the Doom 3 equivalent.

Same goes btw for the pistol - good in DN3D, bad in Doom 3.

I've slept maybe 2h in the past day.

I thought about picking up Avowed, til I saw the price. On battle.net its almost 900kr for standard edition. That's around 90 bucks. It's on steam for 70. Too much for what it is imo.

That's not good. I had trouble sleeping a year ago and a bit further and I couldn't remember when last I had a dream. Then I tried a supplement and boom - instantly I slept deep enough for a dream to appear! It was such a big moment I remember even now what it was about!

It's not perfect and I still wake up from time to time, but I still take it as a win. I don't need it anymore in order to dream, but I think it helps to fall asleep again after waking up.

Still trying to find a new game.

Every game I've played that has been a bop has found me, not the other way around

Right? I admit I’m curious about what all they change. I don’t know anything about game development, but Oblivion runs like hot garbage on a good day now, I can’t imagine how going in and tacking on a modern graphics engine and going into the gameplay guts and making changes there will make it any better.

This has been a wild ride to follow, haha. I feel bad for the Skyblivion team if the rumors do pan out... that "mod" was slated for release this year.

Be interesting to see what they've changed, Oblivion was a pretty game and Cyrodill was huge and full of places to explore.
