Whoever made or thought up Elden Ring Nightreign must have came from a broken home or something. It's a totally different experience playing and man is it brutal. It's like having too completely relearn to play from day one and you will die A LOT! Infact just sit back and relax and let the game have its way with you, eventually you'll go numb and that flair with return and eventually you one day you'll be able beat it.
And no ER: Nightreign isn't canon to the lore of Elden Ring, it's in its own universe. -------------------- Live and let live.
