What bothers me about modern gaming is that they charge at minimum $70 for AAA games and the quality is decreasing not increasing. The only thing they seem to care about is if looks good. Most games these days seem to run like hot garbage.

MS got a lot of flak for that with the Outer Worlds 2. The first game launched at $40, and they announced the sequel at $80!!!!

Yep. The first The Outer Worlds was ok but I never did finish it. This new one seems to be an improvement, based on the reviews I’ve seen, but no way would I consider paying $80 for it.

I like games that look good graphically, but, man...
Between the political bs identity politics crap and weak gameplay things are bad. The prices going up just reminds me of kotick. He complained years ago that they couldn't charge more because of the economy. They eventually did anyway. -------------------- And in the fury of this darkest hour

I like it when games look like games. Not when they look like a whole Hollywood production or anything actual real life. Deus Ex and the OG Bloodlines are great examples of how I like it. I even enjoy micro-managing the inventory because that just feels so much like a game.

There is something to be said for having a good art style over going for photorealism.
