Another session and more caps in my pocket. Nothing special worth mentioning other than we visited areas of the wasteland not often patrolled. This time we sold stuff at Tenpenny's and right now we're at the empty HQ of Talon Company; the big compound roughly in the middle of the map.

Edit: We've now sold stuff and have 36.000 caps+ after a visit to Tenpenny. Collected some things at Bethesda just prior. Now we've headed east from Tenpenny chasing after more stuff/things to collect and sell

Justin Tyme, a toon character I rolled a while back, finally got his game running. Running without crashing after speaking to Doc Mitchell, that is. Anyway, I decided he'll probably just do the Main Quest and whatever other missions/quests he wants, until whatever. Playing him dead-is-dead though, on Normal difficulty.

Now that I've got this game running on PC I'm gonna [censored] it up, baby! Nah, I won't add too many mods. I do want to mess around with leveled creatures though. And add locations! NV needs more places to explore.

Congrats Renee. It’s crap that one has to do so much just to get the game working, but I remember enjoying my time with New Vegas on the XB360. I particularly liked the Dead Money and Honest Hearts DLCs.

Thanks. Thing is, I have NO idea why the game kept crashing / freezing after speaking to Doc, no idea at all. And I did nothing different.

Was thinking of installing an autosave disabler; maybe that'll help, but I forgot to do this yesterday. All I did was start a brand-new game. *shrug* I did this because I figure the extant saves had become corrupted somehow. Even though no mods are involved yet.

Don't go Dead-is-dead, the game of your next character if Justin dies, might crash again after exiting Doc's house.

Sunday, April 26, 2278 -- Janet, my Talon Company agent, just defeated Sam Warrick. Anyone ever encounter this guy? He's also known as Ken Rollins. Anyway, he was an excellent shot. Kept hitting Janet with his sniper rifle, even as she's running full speed and zig-zagging.

But she got him in the end. Stunned the guy and then sliced him up with Hiss, a knife Lopov made which also poisons its victim.

She's headed to Vault 108 but sheesh, her armor's torn to shreds. Maybe a good time to backtrack. ALL because of Ken Rollins/Sam Warrick.

Sam Warrick was a first random encounter that my first character in FO3 Ronny encountered. I immediately looked up the guy on the Wiki. IIRC he's at first chasing some wastelander and when he kills him, he turns on you.

Yeah, my characters usually run into him at the little destroyed farm up the hill from the Super Duper Mart early in the game.

Just like Christmas, Point Lookout comes but once a year


And it's closing in! We're currently at Rivet City. We always stop by here before making our way to the Dutchess Gambit. Guns have been selected and collected and I'm ready to once again roam the marshlands and hunt some ghouls in the grotto up north.
