Cho Zen Wan just completed the Big Town quest, which was fun. He managed to save Red, but Shorty got eaten by a supermutant, sadly.

Oh noes, poor Shorty!

Now a days I always stock up on assault rifles and combat armor throughout the game. Then when I have enough I take it all out to Big Town and do the quest. I use the console to access all the NPCs inventories, and gear them with with guns and armor. When the mutants attack, they clean their clocks in seconds.

Red becomes the town medic when she returns to Big Town, so yes, I wonder what Shorty would have become. I went on The Vault Fallout Wiki page for Short-T and it says nothing about his possible future. Kind of neat that he gets his nickname from his overall stature.

Oh nice! That is smart, Rosa. Cho usually travels with his C-Team (Citadel team, or Cho team, depending... here is a pic), and yes, they can generally clean anybody's clock within 30 seconds or less. These are three respawning guys I added into his game: one is a dedicated Flamer, one uses assault rifles, and the third guy prefers energy weapons.

Only exception are the Enclave. Those guys are really tough. There have been a couple times when Cho has lost a teammate due to Enclave attacks. Fortunately they respawn after 3 days. And then, they'll even find Cho + the others whenever they are in the CW, which always surprises me.

Dang. See, now I'm wanting to start gaming!

My first main character Marge N. Overra, was also low-leveled to try getting involved with Big Town. Difference was, she was afraid of supermutants,, whereas it sounds like Mirocu was not?

Not really, just underpowered which made me hesitate. Also I was unsure of whether those threats were real or just scripted. Turned out they were real

Was the Behemoth gone as well?

The Behemoth was there. It came busting out almost immediately in fact, before the other mutants in front of GNR were even killed.

The fight outside GNR was epic!

My favorite two fights in that whole game were the Raven Rock implosion (= after moving the force meet from the Super Mutant follower to outside the gate so it doesn't ruin your view of the battle) and crossing that bridge over the Potomac behind Liberty Prime! It doesn't get any better than those two battles!

My first times doing those two battles was on the XBox 360 with vibration in the controller = the controller was vibrating so hard crossing that bridge that I had to clutch it to keep it from leaping out of my hands!!!! AWESOME battles!!!

I didn't know you could do this; does their inventories not reset in 3 days?

If they don't Respawn, then their inventory also won't respawn. I think. Only if an NPC respawns (a generic Security Guard in Tenpenny Tower, for instance) will his/her inventory also respawn.

And ya'll know my drill by now; collected Gunny outside Megaton and off we went to shoot whatever we could find and gather as much loot as possible. This season first brought us to Bethesda ruins, Wil Wheaton armory and Canterbury Commons.

Cho here, just chilling out in Moriarty's place. Haven't made one of these recordings in awhile. Months, for sure. Lots has been happening. Break.

Just saved a bunch of settlers up in Big Town, saved them from supermutants, that is. Damn things. Big and ugly, and they make fantastic targets for my specialized assault rifle. That was fun. No casualties on my end, although one of the settlers lost his life. Hate to say, but I blame myself for that one. Wasn't looking on my Pipboy compass when I shoulda been. But ya know. *unidentified word* happens. Can't save the whole damn world, all I can do is try. Break.

I need a drink.

No, the quest triggers when we go to Big Town, speak to one of the people who live there, and *bam* the quest should get started. Red is in a completely different cell, far to the north of Big Town. So maybe you can see if Mirocu has the earliest stage of Trouble in Big Town in his (no doubt very extensive *ahem*) Quest Log area.

You can also start the quest by talking to Red in the Germantown police HQ if you encounter her before initiating the quest in Big Town.

I'm inside of the Project Purity project building. Whatever it's called. The place where they supposed are making the water supply around the capitol area safe. It's having mixed results, and guess who is being sent around to fix everything, for everyone? Break.

Among the locations we hit today was the Deathclaw nest close to Northwest Seneca station. Love standing on the bridge and use the Vulcan minigun on them since they stand so close together. Would have been even more awesome if the minigun specifically didn't have that annoying 255 round cap. I wanna be able to truly spray-and-pray on those fellas without reloading!

Hey. I'm back inside the Museum of History, and oh boy, we got ourselves a story now. Break.

Apparently the Project Purity folks have been selling their water to the ghouls, which is shady enough if you ask me. Scribe Bigsley himself told me a couple days ago. But then I just discovered that Griffon, the head ghoul inside this museum, has been keeping secrets from everyone. He's got a whole rebottling operation going on across the Mall. Basically, he's been buying Aqua Pura, and rebranding it is Aqua Cura. Break.

So. What's the difference between Aqua Pura and Aqua Cura? Aqua Cura is supposed to "cure the ghoul condition", according to Griffon, but that's a lie. That *unidentified word* is full of Rads, man. It's irradiated. How's that supposed to cure those ghouls? Right. It isn't supposed to cure them. Break.

Did you hear all of that, ghoul Griffon? I'm talking into my "Pipsqueak", as you call it. Making a recording as I speak.

*unidentified male voice*: Welcome back Cho, and step right up. How can I help you?

It's over, Griffon. I've been to your stupid bottling plant, just across the Mall.

*unidentified male voice identified as ghoul Griffon*: My what now? My bottling operation? Oh, you mean where I add my secret ingredient to the Aqua Pura?

If your secret ingredient is radiation, then yeah. Care to explain how long you'd think you'd get away with this? Answer carefully, and keep in mind that this entire conversation is being recorded.

ghoul Griffon*: I can't believe it. I have a good thing going here. Why mess it up for me? What have I ever done to you? I'm not hurting anyone. I mean really. Reverse the ghoul condition? With a bottle of water? ... I wasn't fooling anybody. They were only fooling themselves.

Anything else? Don't try anything foolish now. I got my boys with me. My C-team. Maybe you've heard of us. Things don't always end up so rosy when we're in town.

A peaceful resolution, how about that? They say happiness is a warm gun, at least some of them say this. Well, I'm pretty happy about the way things turned out, yet my gun is cold. Time to get the hell out of here.
