I really love the idea of the living areas being up on stilts; can you keep enemies away from the residents that way?
The "marketplace" and "available services" were really intriguing; I'd love to see more in depth looks at the interiors! Also, in "available services;" is that a vanilla building wall and roof? Really interesting looking, I don't think I've seen them in my game!
Great shots, and some really great building you've done!
I don't think it really does much for defending settlers. It was just an idea I tried out because I wanted it to at least seem like it had a sort of solid foundation. OSHA and any other building safety groups and organizations would be absolutely furious with some of the stuff I have built lol.
Everything in my games is unmodded. I haven't gotten around to trying them yet. So yes, the stuff is vanilla. I'll have to get some more shots of interiors.
Thanks!

You know, I've wondered that too. I've seen a lot of mods that add a school for children in Sanctuary; or playgrounds = always wondered if that was wasted use of Settlement space.
I also heard conflicting reports on Barber chairs and surgery chairs = that they increased Settler happiness; but that none of the Settlers will even sit in the barber chair or surgery chair. I want them because I can use them, but do they actually increase Settler happiness if they can't/don't use them?
These shots are great, I especially love your Nuka World!
From what I have found through Googling, it seems that there...really is no point to the nursery. At least not from what I have read. So, unfortunately, it does seem like a waste of space. I'm guessing what would be in there was cut out much like a lot of things Bethesda plans, but I don't know why they still kept the nursery type of building itself.
Come to think of it, I haven't personally witnessed settlers using barber or surgery chairs. Can't say for sure if they are meaningless, but I haven't noticed them
not contributing. So that's a good thing, I guess?
Nuka-World Red Rocket has become one of my favorite places to build on. So much room that it lets you build on and it is pretty flat. Seems to be one of the places with the most freedom to make what you want in terms of both landscape and size, if it isn't at the top of the list.
