It's been a while since I've listened to that song.

I love the vocals!

I listen to all kinds of music; rap, rock, classic, instrumentals, hip-hop. Just depends.

Right now I am listening to Zack Hemsey. The man does both rap and movie-style music. This is the instrumental version:

Favorite part:

Makes me happy/sad and just plain epic.

The new Game of Thrones "Shadow" teaser had one of his songs, that's how I came to find out about him. I don't watch GOT by the way.

--------------------
And yet I am, and live—like vapours tossed.
I long for scenes where man hath never trod
A place where woman never smiled or wept
There to abide with my Creator, God,
And sleep as I in childhood sweetly slept,
Untroubling and untroubled where I lie
The grass below—above the vaulted sky.”

Oh that's good. Not interested in the rap, but the instrumental you linked sounds great.

The rap version is pretty good. Very very sad, but pretty good. No profanity, no drugs...just three different stories that can be connected. Girl finds out she's pregnant due to rape, guy contemplates suicide while another(or the same guy) is shot at a club and is pronounced brain-dead to his desperate mother who cries uncontrollably.

Non-instrumental version.

It's tragic, but hey, it's better than guys with "grillz" and "chainz" bragging about money, women and drugs.

Someone mentioned Rammstein! I like his songs. Especially Mein Herz Brennt(My heart Burns).

Most rap just turns me off because of how immature it is. I might listen to the other version of that song later.

I'm a big Rammstein fan. Listening to Nebel right now.

I love Phil Collins...You can tell by his music whether he is having relationship issues or not, just look at the "phases" over the years.....

"I am having Phil-Phest... ...(You see what I did there? )..."
McB it is official, if there were any doubt what-so-ever that you deserved that promotion this removed ALL doubt... rollinglaugh.gif

He's also a tremendously underrated drummer.

Exhibit A
Exhibit B

On a Phil Collins-related note (Phil was a frequent collaborator with him during the 80s), I'm on something of a John Martyn jag right now, most recently One World.

Valentine's Day may be a little ways off, but here's a romantic little cut off that album to keep in mind when it does come around. If the day comes when I do get married, I do believe I would like that song to be played at the wedding.
