My first was with Morrowind, I was over at a friend's house (THANK YOU ANTHONY!) when he showed me Morrowind. So after watching him go around killing everything in sight for a while I asked if I could play, "Yeah in a sec" was his responce.

TWO HOURS LATER

Finally he gets of his PC and lets me try, so clicking new game I insert my fav. name at the time (Plus I got it from a book set it in medival times) and enter the world of Tamriel for the first time.

So after being comepletely blown away I set out to explore Seyda Neen. Now while Anthony was more of the kill first think about the guards later type, I played slightly more intelligently.

Being a thief I entered Arrills Tradeshop and did the first thing a thief would do (Being a stupid one I mean), took the silver shortsword, needless to say Anthony thought I was going on a mass killing spree and advised to to kill the Altmer shouting at me.

Now I normally won't give in to his advise, but I had no idea as to what I should do, thus I drew my sword (After equiping it I mean, sorry but that sounded cool.) and failed in my attempt to slay the High Elf. That was my first and second lesson in the Elder Scrolls, level one thief's don't commenly win against anything, and never listen to Anthony.

So tell us yours, or I will send Anthony to you house... emot-ninja1.gif

P.S. I meant to add this in above, but that was also just before my 15th B-D so with my B-D money I bought Morrowind for X-Box.

It was Skyrim, actually. Back in late 2013 in my undergrad years, one of my friends from high school had it on his Xbox 360 and I got to play it. I had heard a lot about the game and it sounded fun, but I wasn't able to play it because I did not have either of the requisite consoles or even know if my PC would be able to handle it (I actually might not have even known it was available on PC at the time). I did not even know it was part of a larger series until I played it and saw the full title. I had probably heard of The Elder Scrolls at some point, but if I did I had forgotten.

I greatly enjoyed it, even though I did not play a whole lot of it, and decided to get it on PC when I found out I could. Long story short, I decided to go back and play the other games in the series. First it was Oblivion, then Morrowind, then Arena, then Daggerfall, then Redguard. I played Online a slight bit on PS4 before I had finished Redguard, but after getting a new PC after my old one's Internet decided it no longer wanted to work (it would show a connection, but anything that required Internet would not actually load; coincidentally Redguard was the last game I beat on that PC), I got Online for it and have been having a blast with that too. Finding out about the impending digital releases of Redguard and Battlespire were actually what introduced me to GOG and got me to create an account on there, although Battlespire has largely remained untouched with only about an hour playtime. I hope to rectify that soon.

Kind of crazy to think about how this all started with Skyrim, knowing absolutely nothing about the series, to now having at least played every one of the non-mobile games. And what an incredible adventure playing through the games has been. It's become my favorite video game (and possibly favorite fictional) franchise in the process.
