I’m so glad Aravi healed herself up before charging back down there!

What a fabulous job she did of outdancing that other archer! Aravi is just so darn good at shooting on the move and outmaneuvering other ranged attackers.

It looks like she has a tiny constant health regeneration effect going from her magical effects. I thought I have noticed her red bar inching up on its own before.

Grits, Jerric’s use of detect life and fire together is so pretty. I’ve always luvved the chestnut horses and Kip’s a beaut! What a perfect choice for Jerric.

@Grits: Those little skirmishes are so much fun to do. Even though she’s a swordsman before an archer, she enjoys being able to hang back once in a while and shoot. Those battles generally end in less pain (for her) and less laundry.

Now that I’ve met Lildereth I’m happy that she’s learning to dodge and shoot as well. She is a fantastic character!

Lol Jerric’s experimentation with fire magic is fun! My favorite has to be Jerric’s pile of loot.

Aravi left Vilja by the door in armor so she must have changed while Aravi was killing things… Maybe it had something to do with Jerric out there… lol.

Aravi does very well dodging arrows. She isn’t very skillful with her bow so she doesn’t do much damage per hit, which holds her back from being an archer character. Her long range shooting has really suffered since she’s started the rapid shot range shooting.

@Acadian: She almost got out of that fight with the other archer unscathed. She did get a scrape when she tripped on that step.

I have a tiny health regen going for Aravi. It’s not enough that it makes a difference in a fight. It’s more for convenience than anything. I don’t have to dig through the journal for that healing spell and I don’t have to look for potions either. Besides you can get the same effect just by waiting an hour so why not?

I don't know how you can say Aravi isn't accurate with the bow, she is a dead aim !! And she only uses plain bow and arrow 90% of the time - just keeps nailing away at their faces till there's nothing left, lol.

I'll bet Aravi won't lose that bow! ROFL !!! I love how lately Aravi's been taking some extra hits on the vampires after they fall, lol. Don't blame her a bit, when they come so close to taking her life (and give her their scurvy diseases) !!

I can’t believe that orcish crusader dared to call our beautiful Khajiit a mangy housecat! But then when you showed us her damaged attributes and having an idea of her diseases, I sort of see his point.

Argh! When she sniped that vamp from the safe perch, she had the right bow, the right arrow but I was screaming for her to poison it! I was sooo proud to see that did so for her next engagement.

Woohoo! Summoning a scamp!

That slashing a dead vic is getting to be Aravi’s trademark!

Whew! Now, Aravi needs to go get all healed up and repaired.

This is a great firing position, but I see Aravi has already killed the big boss vampire. I don’t hurt anymore, so all the vamps must be dead now. Screenshot

There was an outraged shout on this end when that orc called Aravi a mangy housecat! LOL Acadian! Since the last vampire called her that too, maybe a little swim might be a good idea later. I was hoping she’d get a few more arrows into that Orsimer before she closed, but I guess she was feeling better and ready to go toe to toe. What a display of Aravi’s speed, that was a fun fight to watch.

Another thumbs up for the scamp! When that bikini Blood Servant ran for the dagger, I knew exactly what she was doing because I remembered seeing it on the ledge with those books. It’s really fun to have just been through where Aravi goes on her missions.

Now the good folk of Water’s Edge can rest easier. This has been a very fun series of videos!!


Acadian, how funny that Superian came inside! I imagine that she and Buffy trotted across the water and into the fort without getting a drop on them. On the quiver is a great place for a butterfly. It’s certainly more tasteful than Jerric’s suggestion.


ETA: Aravi's new sword looks great!! Can't wait to see it in action.

Lol, Superian came inside !! I saw that in your Photobucket and couldn't figure out what stables that was !!! ROFL !! Great shot, so glad you didn't miss that one !! The screens are great too, it is so much fun to do these places as a co-op effort !! As close as we can get to having it an "in game" feature, lol.

Aravi misses plenty but what I was talking about was long range shooting. She can’t hit anything at long range anymore now that she’s spent so much time in dark ruins. Also her skill with the bow is only at 52!

That Orc was too talented in restoration and Aravi didn’t know what kind of destruction spell he was casting so she thought he deserved an extra smack at the end. “Who just got beat by a mangy housecat?”

You’re right! She must have got her poisoned arrow mixed up with her other arrows! She needs a separate small sheath for her poisoned arrows…

Wait you didn’t mean the orc did you? She was in a hurry to shoot while they were still standing together. poisoning an arrow doesn't take long but she skipped it anyways. She probably could have killed one of them outright had she poisoned it.

That last blood servant was too fast to take on by herself. The scamp did its job perfectly

Nice screens! That timber wolf Buffy spared did Aravi a lot of harm though!
Superian wants to get away from all the trouble outside caused by Maxical, Alix, and Vilja. Nice butterfly too. I’m glad you got a screen of it!

That Orc was too quick. Maybe if she had her short bow out already she would have but she had the big slow bow out.

Scamps are my favorite summon. They are very inexpensive to summon and they do a fair amount of damage. There are a lot of other more cool things to call (daedroth, dremora lords, atronachs) but Aravi doesn't have the skill to pull one of them in.

Neat with the dagger and the blood servant! I never knew there was a dagger up there, I though she grabbed it from the dead patriarch.

Wow! Where’d those bandits outside Fort Redman come from? I would have thought Jerric and Alix would take care of them along with the slaughterfish. Nice to see Vilja earning her keep – she did well!

I love Borderwatch – at least until naïve Buffy listened to Sheo and ruined it. She still hasn’t forgiven herself. I’m so glad it is still normal in Aravi’s world. Don’t listen to Sheo!!!

What a disturbing dream as Aravi’s demon slaughters Water’s Edge. And what a wickedly appropriate weapon she used.

That you can make us care so much about Aravi is testament both to her character and your skill.

That place is a bandit hot spot! I agree with Acadian, it was nice to see Vilja’s back as she sprinted off to deal with them. Even nicer afterward to see Aravi use Mara’s Mercy on her friend.

I really like Border Watch too, I can’t believe I’ve never thought to sleep there. Darn step! Aravi really needed some rest. Uh oh, Aravi took the big bed!

What an awful dream in Hunter’s Sight. Then Aravi woke up thinking it was about to attack her! Yikes. Very well done. Poor Aravi!

@Grits: Vilja’s made up for all the trouble she caused right here. Aravi was in no shape to fight two bandits and Vilja took them both on with Aravi helping where she could.

Early in Aravi's game I knew her restoration was never going to level very high so I directed her towards the Ritual Stone which provided two powerful healing spells.

I’m so pleased that Aravi verified the folks in Water’s Edge were okay and that it was indeed a dream. Nice touch with the well-done tiny flashbacks as she entered each house.

I was stunned at your creative talent as, when Aravi and Vilja were leaving Water’s Edge, you panned out then faded to white. And I loved it when Aravi chirped, ‘Gotcha good!’, then ran ahead, and cast a spell just as you faded the scene. In fact all your transitions were beautifully done. What an artist you are!

Woot! Aravi at her best – on the winning end of swapping arrows with another archer. She is so good at that!

Nice to see her bypassing some foes as well. Oh, not to worry about that camp she caught a glimpse of near the very end. Buffy assures me it’s a friendly ranger camp full of wood elves. (Added by Brash’s Leather Armors and Wooden Bows mod).

I have to add my appreciation for the way you presented Aravi’s return to Water’s Edge.

Like mALX said, Vilja did a great job waiting her turn against those two bandit archers while Aravi took care of business. It was good to see Aravi’s stealthy approach to that bridge, even though it turned out that this time there were no enemies. The way you put that together with the flower picking and the little chat with Vilja about Aravi’s outfit really evoked the feeling of a whole journey. I loved the part where it started to snow as they walked past evidence of a roadside fight.

Now, that little hesitation when Vilja took on the spider… Was that can I get a shot or eek, spider? I’m guessing B, since she took off running after the fight.

I agree about slipping past some potential enemies. That part reinforced that Aravi is trying to live in a dangerous world. Her mission is not “kill every moving thing in Cyrodiil.”

@mALX: Aravi was pleasantly surprised Vilja stayed back as long as she did. And appreciative as well. As soon as the bandit started shooting at Vilja, it was time to let her go in and finish things.

@Grits: That bridge always has enemies around it, except this time however. There were a couple of legionaries on the other side, perhaps they took care of business before Aravi arrived.

If Vilja can wait her turn like that more often, Aravi would get along with her a lot better.

That snow was really weird. It was hard to tell, but that was down just outside of Bravil.

Holy Cow, Aravi puts a lot into prepping for an assignment !!

Something happened to my Vilja, I unclicked her in the OBMM, and suddenly all her files won't come up in the CS and she isn't working. I tried DL'ing the mod again and reinstalling her - same thing.

Between that and my CS crashing constantly - I figured it was time to reinstall everything and hope that helps the issues.

That assignment Aravi is prepping for sounds really interesting - and I was really intrigued by the "Topics" Roland Jenseric had that you could talk to him about !! What conversation does he have about Aravi's nightmares? and he had both Vampire and Vampires listed as Topics !!! I'm dying to find out what those are all about (especially about the nightmares) !!

This mod is extensive !! Whoever made it put tons of work into it !!! Great vid !!!

Aravi’s new quest is terrifying! A whole group of travelers gang-drained by a pack of vampires.

How nice to see Aravi and Vilja spend a quiet day in town before heading home to Red Rose Manor. I know they’ll be drawn to more vampire huntin’ soon at Ninendava.

I’m thinking Vilja got the better end of things here. The Nord bought Aravi a bunch of clothes that I’m pretty sure our Khajiit will not wear (especially the shoes). Aravi, on the other hand, bought her friend every strawberry and sweetcake in town. I am pleased though that Vilja was sweet enough to make a nice potion for Aravi, as well as to note how nicely indeed that new green silk doublet matches her eyes.
