Aaaaah, Undead Adventurer!! That was so neat and scary! What a scramble as soon as she went back in. It was quite creepy when the ghostly apparition went into the wall and then popped back out.

LOL that zombie had a spoon in its inventory! For eating braaaaaaains…

Aravi staggers out sick and gasping for breath after ridding Nirn of more evil, and Vilja says she was bored? I bet she didn’t leave Aravi any sweetrolls, or even a sweetcake. Then Aravi says the light hurts her eyes, and Vilja replies what a lovely day it is. Grrr! Although it did look like a nice day. Wow, that was a tough assignment. Aravi’s tenaciousness really came through. She just kept going back in! I hope she gets some down time, and Vilja does something nice for her.



We're trailing behind a little, as usual. At least Lildereth got the picnic set up. Here’s Jerric about to jump off the waterfalls near Shadow’s Rest Cavern.

Those falls are a lot of fun! He kind of didn't want to leave.

At Ninedava (finally), Jerric enters the ruin and finds a welcoming committee.

KC, that was really scary when Aravi got jumped as soon as she reentered Ninendava! Even more so when she pressed around her foes and went deeper into the dungeon! But I realize that was all she could do – she needed the room to maneuver. Wow, she did really well and smart throughout this!

Poor Aravi, now the light hurts her eyes.

Well, Buffy waited outside - just like Aravi told her and Vilja to do. But after Aravi and Vilja left, Buffy just couldn’t resist slipping into the ruin and going to read that book that Aravi didn’t share with us. @mALX: Vilja was kind of a ----- in the last episode.

Thanks! That little one level dungeon was a lot of work with all the vampires and their undead.

Mods well I have a pretty big list of them but the vampire one is called Vampire Hunting. All the new enemies and weapons/armor is from Francesco's Leveled Creatures/Items mod. Fran’s does quite a bit but it’s all modular so you can pick and choose what parts you want to install or not.

Great screens of the revived Alix! That poor mouse got mouthfuls of disgusting rotting zombie flesh. Do we have a puke emote? If Aravi had a pet she wouldn’t have let it fight just to keep its mouth clean. I’m sure Shivani gave Alix a potion of cure disease or a mandrake root.

@Grits: I had some concerns about that Undead Adventurer but luckily everything worked out just fine with it. It was scary to see what had happened to the last person that wandered in there.

Vilja is kind of a ----- isn’t she?

And where is that picnic? Aravi got out and there was nothing there!

Great screens as well. I think the only thing more pungent than a zombie is a flaming zombie.
I think my favorite is Jerric’s lockpick. And Lildereth did find something interesting.

@Acadain: Yeah she needed room and there wasn’t any up against the door. She had to move in deeper. Those zombies are pretty clumsy but brushing (or shoving) past them was gross.

Yes she finally gets out into the fresh air and she starts to burn in the sun right away. She is going to have to buy more mandrake because she isn’t going down south for a while I don’t think.

I’m glad everyone liked the video despite its long length. I’ll try to avoid doing that.

Buffy looks rather engrossed in that book despite it being “pure crap.” Lol.

KC, Thank you for showcasing the beautiful apartment you made for Buffy. She loves it and was so delighted to have Aravi and Vilja stay there! As you could see, the wine rack was stocked with you-know-what, the statue over the fire place was of Mara and the birthsign tapestry depicts Buffy’s ‘Mage’ birthsign. Sorry Buffy didn’t have fresh sweet rolls and strawberries out on the table for the two ladies to enjoy, but we’re glad Aravi at least found some bread.

It was so neat to see Aravi practicing her sword skills and supporting spells. No wonder she’s so good with that blade!

The nightmare was mALXishly awesome! You really gave the impression of distance and nothingness as Aravi trekked on through the night. The desert and density of rocks/wormwood was perfect. Into the sunrise and burning skin with nowhere to hide. A nightmare indeed! What you did near the end with casting, burning and collapsing was stunningly effective. You truly are a master of this art form!

No grub left for Aravi, that’s what happens when you leave two Nords alone with a picnic. Buffy didn’t even get a crumb of bread or a sliver of cheese!

I love Buffy’s apartment!! All of those personal touches really make it hers. I noticed the wine rack right away, and plenty of room in those glass cabinets to display shoes. Also plenty of floor space, handy for Aravi’s practice session. I loved seeing her cast her pre-fight spells before she drew her sword. Aravi’s interaction with Vilja was especially funny in this video. Mudcrabs.

I have to echo what mALX and Acadian said about the nightmare. The dreamscape was stunning, and the music just hauntingly perfect. I was getting so tense as the sky lightened. The ending with Aravi frantically healing herself until her magicka couldn’t keep up shows us another of her deepest fears. Feeding on Vilja, wanton slaughter at Water’s Edge, and now this dream. The vampire hunting business is taking its toll on Aravi.

mALX, I added the last five at the same time, but I didn’t show the statue in case someone else had plans. Good idea for Shivani to take it back with her! I am so happy to see the real Alix the Mouse return to Tamriel!! And Shivani as well, yay! Poor Alix the pincushion, good thing he can heal himself. OMG, Alix vs the Zombies was hilarious. He has a killer instinct! Then it looked like he was fussing at Shivani. Too funny. Awww, and a sweet farewell. I’m so glad Alix is back!

@mALX: I was shocked at Vilja. After she complained I had this little thought that said wouldn’t it be funny if… and then she did it.

That “Idle Animation Controller" came with a huge pose compilation mod that I can no longer find on Nexus. The closest thing to it that I can find contains adult animations. "Idle Animation Controller" is misleading; it is simply a pose mod.

Buffy’s apartment was a lot of fun to make and I had to get a bit creative to fit the new door into the wall in a way that looked alright.

@Acadian: It was fun to have Aravi and Vilja stay in Buffy’s apartment once. Aravi was happy with the bread and she has some food packed away for Vilja so the ladies were just fine.

Aravi’s use of magic is changing a little and this video was a little introduction to it. Her magic is now going to be less of a weapon and more supporting of her other skills.

Thank you, that nightmare was difficult to do. Lots of preparation and then covering up little things that I missed (it had the cheery music playing while she wandered :facepalm:).

@Grits: Aravi is going to be using her magic a bit differently from now on. Illusion was getting to be way too powerful. I’m glad you liked Buffy’s apartment. I copied the Skingrad house upstairs and then made it Buffy’s!

By your comments I know I did that nightmare right. I originally put in the dungeon music to cover up a mistake but it added quite a bit to the whole thing I realized.

Aravi is horribly afraid of turning into a monster. What if she couldn’t see the sun anymore? What if murder and violence became satisfying and enjoyable?

GAAAAAAAAAH!!!! WTH happened to Rohssan? I've never seen her looking quite so ... hideous !!! Loved this vid, a quiet "behind the scenes" look at Aravi's day when she isn't hunting vampires - and it was great to see she is an associate in the Mages Guild, why didn't I know that about her? Awesome Vid !!!!

PS: If you are going to show them the first desert ... why not show them the Battle of the Century? That was AWESOME !!!

Going out in a storm instead of hanging out in Buffy’s cozy apartment? Madness! Still, it’s nice to be able to send Vilja out shopping when she starts to complain. And Aravi did seem like she was getting restless.

How nice to see Boderi! I almost expected her to tell Aravi that Buffy just left for Kvatch. I like rainy days in Cyrodiil, they make the sunny ones even more fun. And there’s something about running through the raindrops and then dashing into some cozy inn. Not so much seeing Rohssan, though. Like mALX said, she looked like she had a late night.

I don’t know how you do it, but I felt like I was right there with Aravi. Great job!

@mALX: I love the ears on the Khajiit! You can know what expression Aravi has on her face even from behind; you just have to look at the ears!

Aravi’s been an associate for a long time; before I started the videos. She isn’t very active in the guild unlike Buffy or Grits’ trio.

And ummm… Rohssan looked normal to me. She’s always been old and kind of ugly. I’m guessing she isn’t in your games?

@Grits: She was trying to wait out the storm but it showed no signs of ending. Vilja doesn’t mind the rain and thunder at all when there’s SHOPPING to do. Aravi on the other hand hates thunder. Rain doesn't bother her; she has that ugly orange robe from the archeology guild.

I wish Boderi would have said something about Buffy! Aravi stopped to talk because Buffy holds her in high esteem. Aravi doesn’t usually like Dunmer, but Boderi was pleasant.

I wish she had said something about Buffy! That would have been much more interesting than the Archmage.

Vilja was able to walk right through the gates. Vilja must assume any factions the player belongs to.

I really like that mod, it’s nice being able to tell the weather without actually stepping outside.

I made it with the auto placer (the same thing I used to put rocks all over the desert).

I had the pleasure of getting to preview some of the work that went into making that wonderful dream sequence from you last vid. I also got to see that fun mega fight. Lol.

This vid was a nice chance for Aravi to relax some more. Hmmm. . . I think dear Vilja is so wonderfully motivated in wanting protect Aravi's pretty little head, but I just don't think an ebony helm is going to work out for her.

Please tell us what was happening with the weather. Just a foggy day around Iimperial Isle?

What the heck, that is a threatening sky! Twister weather in the IC?!

Vilja got a GREAT deal on that ebony helmet, but… it’s about as appropriate for Aravi as three more blue velvet dresses.

New blade, yay! Aravi looks rested up and ready for some killing.

The battle video looked like fun! Just pick up a sword, wear it out, pick up another one and repeat. Sounds like one of Jerric’s dreams.

That’s sweet of your pooch. I’m still a cat person though. Lol.

I’m afraid War Zone needs a beast of a computer to run. I had to slowly reduce the numbers of NPCs placed so I could get as many as I could without crashing the game. The first few minutes in the area was hell for my computer. After a few people killed each other off it got smooth enough to record. Even then the AI was having major issues.

That battle video was snippets taken out of a 40 minute battle. I eventually just quit because there were STILL so many NPCs out there.

I agree with Aravi, that was a beautiful walk in the trees. It was fun to see Aravi and Vilja having a beer together. Aravi is petite! No wonder we saw a lot of armored chests in the battle video. Wow, I love being able to see out the windows. Smart of Aravi to take the far bed. Now she won’t have Vilja climbing over her in the middle of the night after she’s been downstairs pounding brews with the orcs.

A nice trip to Cheydinhal. We’ll have to brace ourselves in case the next day brings frightening fog and Falanu’s scary looking mother.
