Lost and alone in the tunnels beneath the Imperial City, Sy'Liesh slinks from one shadow to the next, bow in hand, arrow nocked and ready to draw. He hugs the walls, the only thing that gives him any sense of direction, unwilling as he is to light a torch to banish the gloom.
The scrape of bare flesh on rough ground echoes down the corridor. Sy'Liesh freezes, the fins atop his head twitching as he peers into the gloom, cold reptilian eyes searching for any hint of movement among the shadows and darkness. There! A lighter patch, moving over a darker one, the right height for a goblin.
He draws the bow, sights down the arrow for the briefest of moments. There's no frame of reference, no real way to gauge distance in the darkness, so he aims be instinct. He fires, the arrow disappearing almost as soon as it leaves the bow. Moments later, the lighter patch shifts violently, growing narrower then wider again as it spins, but keeps its footing. A bestial snarl rolls towards Sy'Liesh as he draws and nocks a second arrow, bringing his bow up again and firing, followed a moment later by a third arrow.
The lighter patch reels and gasps before pitching to the floor, an uncoordinated heap. Shouldering his bow, Sy'Liesh draws an iron dagger and moves in to make sure the creature is dead...

QUOTE(mirocu @ Aug 18 2016, 04:28 AM) Small update today After messing around the area of Imperial Bridge Inn, Lothran is now at the Drunken Dragon on his way to Leyawiin. There he´s gonna do his usual thing of buying ingredients and recharging weapons. And of course talking to people and enjoying the area. lll I like that guy in Leyawiin that hates Khajiit and can tell like 20 hateful Khajlilit jokes,

Joan of Arkay is in Fallen Rock Cave. As an agent of Arkay, she tends to look for any sort of lairs containing undead most of all, and it sounds like this place might be packed with these. Since Joanie's game is on Xbox, she's got a lot of standard, mass-produced equipment upon her person.
1). Fine Iron Shortsword 2). Rusty Iron Daggar
3). Green Wool Shirt 4). Leather Boots 5). Leather Shield 6). Steel Gauntlets 7). Steel Greaves
... some potions, two apples, a slab of dried beef, two carrots, 4 batches of flax seed, an array of scrolls, 4 lockpicks, and one torch. She can cast Starlight now, so the torch is only used for short bursts of time, or after all the enemies are dead.
Joan's typical trick is to sneak up to some undead, throw a fireball at as many of these as she can, and when they start getting close to her, she'll follow this spell up with Turn Undead. As the undead(s) begin to flee, she'll then swtich back to fireballs again. This is why her choice of weaponry & armor is so light. No cuirass, for instance. No helmet. She has a lot of confidence.

Joanie is a lot of fun to game with, which pleases me. Even though her game is modless, I usually find myself getting sort of addicted to her game, and next thing you know a couple hours have gone by! I've said this before, but she'll be my main Morrowind character, I think, whenever I finally get to that game. I have no idea what a 'War Cleric' is, but I think she'll be part healer / part warrior, basically. And also devoted to Arkay, obviously. That's gonna be fun! Sundas, Sun's Dusk 17: Renee was given instructions from Bravil's count because the 'peasants' were not outside the castle where they should have been (because there was a problem between The Elder Council mod and Open Cities I had to fix). In RP terms, all these peasants had been imprisoned a day or two earlier. The count then told Renee the problem, which was some black bow bandits located in a camp about halfway between Bravil and Leyawiin. These bandits had been attacking people along the road, and Bravil's royalty was doing nothing about it. So the job fell to guess who? It had been foggy all day, and as Renee, Jada, and Felrika finally found the bandit camp, they only knew it was there because of its fire. There was only one occupant at this camp, who got quickly overwhelmed by the three ladies attacking him. After it was over, RG3 found herself some "orders" in a nearby chest, telling of some sort of contact in Leyawiin's Five Claws Inn. Which is where they'll be headed next. I recently recolored the Xena armor which RG3 wears, by the way. My first recoloring job. Before it was purple, now it is black. Jeez she looks like she's stoned in that second pic.
