I used to dream poems, and wake up and try to write them and lose the memory of the dream as I try to write it. It is just beyond the reach of being tangible; and when I try to improvise what I thought it was it ends up being no where near as good. You should carry a small voice activated tape recorder and as you jog, as the poems come to you speak them aloud and so they are recorded.
