Kane: That's exactly what I did the day after discovering Oblivion in 2008--called in "sick" to work so I could game out all day!

Those are the best kinds of days off!

I still remember taking a day off work to play it on the PS4. Such a blast!

Just did the safari at Plik's place. The other two guys survived again and I have yet to resurrect any of them. Out of my 21 mines, 20 was used and overall it was a breeze.


Now the rest of Point Lookout awaits!

Turtledove detention camp done.

Weirdly enough there weren't any robots this time, there always are. But now I only found a bunch of ghouls. Nothing to write home about except the one Reaver and he got to taste the Vulcan minigun.

Next time I load up my game there might be some robots fuzzing about, as is typical Fallout 3 to do. But I still find it strange there weren't even any destroyed robots anywhere

I'm now back in the Capital Wasteland where I met up with Gunny. The gang of inbr - eh, locals, never showed up at the Ritual Site which I think is a first. They always do, but not this time. And no robots at the detention camp. What is going on here??


Anyway, next session will have us run back up to Megaton.

As promised; today me and Gunny got up to Megaton with no diversions and very little resistance. Gunny guards the front gate as usual and I sold a few things to Moira and put stuff to be collected into storage at home. Total caps count: 739821.


This concluds quite a productive Fallout 3 season - well met in 2026!

The season of 2026 has started


As always it's just me running around the Wasteland with Gunny, shooting eviltons and collecting loot to sell. We started off traditionally with visiting Northwest Seneca Station to kill off all the Deathclaws with the Vulcan minigun which only downside is that it has to be reloaded instead of just spraying via a belt until the entire reserve is out. But anyway; nine Deathclaws gone and then it was off in random directions.

I wonder how many caps we'll collect this year?

I swear something has happened to Gunny; only a few items and he can't store anything more so I have to rely on him being destroyed at which point there's no limit on how much crap I can load onto him. I think he got destroyed at least five times in today's session

Concentrated on the high ticket areas with lots of Talons and power armor users and at the end I think I earned at least 2000 caps so yeah; not bad
