I don't know what was going on in the other thread, but there really shouldn't be very much editing in a role playing thread. Some of it can't be avoided of course, but it shouldn't become a habit.

I do agree that some of those really old threads that are going nowhere should be closed as well. Like Turn of the Century and Coldshort's Company.

If I'm not mistaken, the Poison thread is finished. Abiene and Seth are both at the Playground already, Eyja and Maxical will be waking up there after that last post.

gave us the warning that we were done. The three of us knew it, but if someone had been involved earlier and dropped out for a while they would have had a chance to return. I could have replied with "I'll request the thread be closed in two days" or something.

That's all I'm saying, that in the future there should be a warning when it is going to happen so we have time to make changes if we are going to without having to involve a mod back and forth.

Example: A post on this discussion thread mentioning that particular satellite will be locked in a week. A heads up to the participants as a courtesy.
