I'm just going to say this - not just for mine and Blackie's sake, but for the sake of all the newb RP'ers that have been welcomed to this thread:

If you are on an RP with any of us new to RP'ing - instead of sniping newb RP'ers behind their backs, the experienced RP'ers should be giving us guidance and suggestions. We can't change something if we don't know it is wrong. I would have taken any suggestions very well if they had been given.

RE: Whatever was said about the Poison thread:

Blackie, me, and Grits were the only ones on that Poison RP; If anyone other than the three of us didn't like what we did on there, I don't care. I loved it. Technically, it was no one else's concern whether we knew what we were doing on there or not as long as we were happy.

I've never RP'd before, but to me it was the most fun I've had in a long time, loved it and loved the people and characters participating in the RP.

Coming back to the Wobbly Playground opened us up to trying to RP with more experienced RP'ers; so now others would have a say in what we do.

Everyone knows on my first post I made a crucial error, didn't know what to do or how to fix it. I'm a newb to this just like Blackie is. I apologized deeply, and one of the injured parties accepted my apology ( <3 ).

Whenever you are dealing with people in a new environment, there will be mistakes made. You all with experience can and should realize that; offer assistance, suggestions, advice, techniques - help, patience, and forgiveness for our gaffs. Like Liz suggested - communicate with your newb fellow RP'ers. We can't learn to do it right if we don't know we are doing something wrong.

Sniping behind people's backs is schoolroom stuff, lets mature it up a bit so the RP remains fun for all, please.

OH!! I think I begin to understand.

What went on in the poison thread does not reflect any standards but the ones of the three who were participating. Much of the character wrangling would be unforgivable to some RPers, which has no relevance whatsoever since other RPers were not involved. We three agreed to wing it, and so it was wung. Mayhem ensued and fun was had by all.

There might be concerns that we’re throwing protocol out the window in the main thread. We’re not.

But in the side threads you players make the rules. No one but you (and our esteemed Moderators, bless you who have to read through all of this!) get to judge.

So I’d say don’t panic until someone crosses the line. Then simply tell THEM about it.



Regarding current events:

I have something to say.

Even as I said it not too much earlier: Anger is a poison and a fire. It destroys everything it touches, and that as we *ALL* can screw up, and start pointing fingers rather than try to resolve situations, and that we *ALL* do this: Forbearance and Forgiveness are necessities. Not luxuries.

Not just here, but in each of our lives.

In spite of knowing this and in spite of having experienced it time and time again, I am all too weak in the place of irrational emotions and flare-ups. I can do naught but apologize, and thank the concerned PM's that I received. A little reminder that there are others besides myself I have to consider.

Not just here, but in my life as well.

Something went wrong somewhere. We've all been through some...well, frankly some crap lately. Stress and pressure is cooking at each of us in someway. The irony? We come here amongst those who can understand it and each other. And a misstep here, a misquote there, and I'm bouncing around like a shiny sphere in a game of pinball.

I too come here to escape and alleviate myself of the drama, and I suppose if I didn't feel something, that would mean I would not grudgingly admit that I luv the lot of ya's.

I will be approaching my one year mark in December. I have never stayed on a forum as long as this one. I would really hate to lose the camaraderie that I get here over something so tiny and stupid.

I will do two things:

1. edit my first post, there are some inconsistencies (sp?) according to Lore,( Thank you Mr Lore-Buff for enlighting me)

2. Speed up things for Serene, can't let her drag along the roads for too long, so she will soon arrive in the WG Inn

Well, yes and no. If we're taking the Skyrim Timeline, yes it would be. Buuuuuuuttttt: Wobbly Goblet is in Oblivion Timeline...sooo...yeah. We'll figure it out.
