Don't quote me on this but perhaps Telvanni bug musk has different effects on people. If a man is wearing it, perhaps the other man begins to like him in a platonic or other way that isn't quite the same as lustful or romantic. Same might be said for women. What we know of the bug musk is that it makes people like others. The only info we have is this: :Telvanni bug musk: "Telvanni bug musk is an expensive perfume made from the scent glands of Grazelands beetles. The substance is sold in sealed flasks, and appears as a dark red-brown paste. The subtle but compelling fragrance is attractive to all mortal races and all sexes. Even a barbarian can be persuasive wearing this perfume." But hey, compelling and persuasive can also mean what we've seen so far . . . I do have to agree with one thing DE said (if I read that correctly) = if your character is attracted to their same sex, I think the Telvanni Bug-Musk should attract what they are attracted to (if the recipient is also either attracted along those same lines or ambiguous on the matter or an NPC). I def agree that we should be able to roleplay our characters how we see them, and if the Telvanni Bug-Musk is going to work for one it should work for all. I just don't want anyone's characters feeling left out of the fun. -------------------- |
