Your call, really. I got post-ninjaed by you a bit, but as it is it strikes me as perfectly possible for Aravi to have only listened to a bit, seeing as she's distracted by Abiene feeling unwell.

She can't read your inner thoughts unless you let her! It's more like a scan of your body language, facial expression and then she might get a sense of what you are thinking at the moment.

Now if you guys find this awkward I'll edit my posts i.e I'll just delete them since she's not exactly interacting with anyone...

It would be a shame to completely delete your posts. After all, the other characters have already reacted to what she did.

I do wonder how she determined that Draken is a vampire. Was he consciously thinking “I’m a vampire” while she scanned him? That part seems like a stretch and possibly a good place for an edit. Perhaps she just sensed that he's unusual, or simply couldn't read him?

Maybe you could explain it a little more so we (the other players) can give you a better idea how to interact with our folks. Is she an empath as well, or just a telepath? In other words can she be mentally fed false information or would she sense that the person is lying? It would be a lot more interesting if she made mistakes rather than having her know everything. Fodder for some quests, even.

I would say she's an empath, since she felt the stress radiating off of Kayla.

I like this idea; a good way to avoid a whole load of edits and deletions, and also gives us a potential plot-hook to play with, if we feel so inclined.

Serene Catraso-Velas is a mage and healer. She has healing powers and knows a fair amount of spells. She is also blessed by Azura, who visits her in her dreams and guuided her through the events in MW.

Now she found out that she also was able to sort of "know" what certain people was thinking, but only people she knew very well and who also could "know" what she was thinking.

Like Lizzy said she is an empath, she can easy feel when people feel bad or are outstressed, then she only wants to be of help.

At the moment she is worried about her missing daughter, she came from Skyrim to investigart this matter and also to find Seth, her husband, who apparently had made quite a few aquaintances at the Wobbly Goblet.

As she was sitting at the table, she felt alone and unwanted, thus she started to watch the ppl around the table, trying to figure out a bit about them, see if she could feel something (NOOO she wasn't trying to mentally rape anyone)

Besides she have met some vamps during her life, she can actually sense it. That's no big deal, it's quite possible. Magnetic fields you know!

Ah, silly me for not explaining earlier on. Draken is good with illusion, very, very good. He's able to mask his aura to compensate for the possibilities of others using a detect undead spell near him. While he looks perfectly indistinguishable from humans if he feeds well, he still has a few other things to manage to walk around in discretion and that's always using illusion to hide himself, especially in the presence of mages. But we can argue that he was too distracted.

Even his sibling in my fanfic was able to hide while being in the mages guild after mastering illusion and those who tried to detect the undead would find an absolute, perfect nothingness. Shadow beyond shadow, because the illusion was so widespread and it was very difficult to pinpoint the exact location. The trick in here as well was to become so comfortable with blending in the realm that one can slip the state of being dissolved but fully conscious and aware.

Its all done now, so I have no issues with it.

Edit: From what I hear, we're soul-trapping creatures, no? Wouldn't a black soul gem be more potent for Aravi?
