Woot - the Antagonizer! I confess a degree of non-FO player confusion here. I think of Antagonizer as one of your characters. Is there also an NPC of the same handle in the game?

Sorry, I forgot to respond. The AntAgonizer is an NPC. She's a supervillain plaguing the town of Canterbury Commons, her arch enemy being The Mechanist, a superhero defending the town from her.

You can take a number of paths with them and the quest they are part of. You can kill the AntAgonizer. Or you can talk her out of her villainous ways, and she takes off her super suit and wanders the wasteland. Finally, you can take her side in the battle, and kill the Mechanist for her. Loviatar took the final option, and at the end the AntAgonizer left Canterbury Commons to again wander the wastelands. I have never done it that way before, but obviously she also can appear afterward, just as if you talk her down from villainy.

When I played the AntAgonizer, my character Dot talked the Anty NPC down from villainy. Afterward Dot took up the AntAgonizer costume and decided to use the power of the Ant for Good. Thus a new AntAgonizer was born!

Lopov: I remember Hobo spending a lot of time in the north-western part of the map, and the satellite dishes around there. So when I saw all the empty whiskey bottles I could not resist a Hobo shout out.


Out west in New Vegas, Hecate found a horrific scene in Nipton

Acadian: Your first meeting with The Legion in New Vegas is not a flattering one. I have never played a character that could do anything but shoot them on sight.

Those aliens freak me out a little. Aliens always freak me out for some reason. They're like the equivalent to scary clowns for some people. Looking at these makes me want to experience Mothership Zeta though! I bet I'd be laughing the entire time, like I usually do while playing Fallout.

Welcome to Holly Leatherneck! Nice to see the Order of the Eagle Globe and Anchor ably represented. Of course she fights back and, of course, she kicks some butt. Doubtless, those aliens do not yet fully realize the can of whoopass that they have mistakenly abducted. Oorah indeed.


Edit: Rihanae has created a FO4 screenshot thread. So I've added a subtitle to this thread to focus it on just FO3 & NV. I'm not worried about the few FO4 screenies already on here, but going forward we now have separate screenshot threads for 3 and 4.

Lopov: I was expecting a big fight in Nipton, hence the mines and the stealth boy. But she picked all of the Legionaries off at a distance. I don't think one ever came within a hundred feet of her.

Acadian: I thought you would appreciate my Leatherneck. I went though several name ideas: Jane Basilone, Gregoria Boyington, or Chesty Puller. But in the end Howlin' Mad sounded best.

Lopov: The little horse is one you can actually pick up and use for a decoration, like the garden gnomes.

There are a few super mutants in the Cryo Storage Chambers. If you press the right buttons (or the wrong ones, depending on your point of view) you wake them up and they go on a rampage.


Acadian: I was thinking the same about Chestie. It also sounded a bit too much like a Porn Star name!

Shots of the galactic battle are always spectacular but I like earthly ones even more, just because they feature Holland back on Earth and getting used to what passes for civilization, even if it's skinny hounds and grisly Talon mercs. Well, fortunately Loviatar hasn't blown up Megaton yet.
