Most times I just leave the stand-off just because I do not feel like doing the dirty/savior work of anybody. I just grab the information I need and high tail it. My character is always hell bent on finding Benny.

Must say it does look fun to get involved though. Those indoor explosions must sound fun!

@Acadian - Alan was also caught on fire when firing the first grenade inside.

@SubRosa - he's my first character ever to use a grenade rifle as one of primary weapons. I had some before that used throwing grenades but Webb is the first one to use a matching rifle. And it's fun.

@Winter Wolf - I had only one character who forgave the Great Khans, and that was "Big" Joe Burg. He even forgave Benny but fancy-pants stabbed him in the back for the 2nd time. My other characters either kill Great Khans by themselves or with the help of the NCR.

@SubRosa - if by souvenir you mean the Platinum Chip, then yes, he picked it up. I suspect Loviatar had a Big Thug Mac in that alley.

@Renee - while Webb's far from dumb, I suspect he might not exactly know what academical rationality is supposed to mean in the wastes. But I got at what were you referring to with your words.

@SubRosa - IIRC there were sexually transmitted diseases in FO1 and FO2. Also, if your character didn't use a condom with a certain character in FO2, in the ending slides it was said that your character got a son.

@Acadian - nothing happened up there except two Chairmen got killed.

Alan Webb finally catches up with his attacker. He decided to use a non-diplomatic approach. Pay attention to the card dealer that remains in his position despite the shooting, and only changes his a table once. He serves as a main character of the story in the Updates thread.

I have not played FO1 or 2 in a long time, and I never finished either one. So I forgot all about diseases in them. Thankfully Bethesda made the world safe by wiping out all illness!

Alan is just going in all guns blazing! What I would call the Persephone approach.

That is hilarious seeing the blackjack dealer just standing there flipping cards while Alan is blowing a goon's head off just a few feet away! Even the grenade did not phase him! What they say mus be true, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Being that Alan has the .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, Benny has to ask himself one question. Do I feel lucky?

Benny definitely was not lucky!

And the only one left standing is the blackjack dealer!

It was great fun to read your update on this fight then see that, indeed, Joe, never abandoned his duties.

I guess the casino will be closed for awhile. . . .

I loved the grenade explosion. That guy was reaching for the stars, or the tops, or just the ceiling.

The least that Alan could have done is flip out a cigarette and play a few hands of blackjack. After all that croupier was committed to their job and never left their post. Lol.

@SubRosa - the card dealer was really lucky not be caught in a crossfire. As he was switching tables during the gunfight, I was almost rolling with laughter.

@Acadian - the casino will indeed be closed for a while, at least until the card dealer gets another boss.

@Winter Wolf - there were still a few hostile Chairmen around when the fight was over but Webb was wounded and had seen enough death for that day, so instead of gambling, he turned on his Stealth Boy and left the casino.

I really love the sunset pictures, wow, my gosh. And the binoculars ones are cool too. Last time I was with Major A. Holle I added a binoculars mod to his game, but it doesn't seem to work right.

That billboard pic looks absolutely awesome! You would never guess that the game is years old. PC gaming certainly rocks with a nice rig. And I love the detail on the moon. Wow. Just as good as the moon I am using on FO4.

Neat shots through the binoculars. Most times when I see that view there are six Deathclaws in the image. Naturally I head quickly in the other direction.

Moriarty, ahh sorry Alan, needs a shave.
