Odd, unscripted moment (she walked over to the Mission Agent and just stood there. Both of them began looking at each other, and I imagined a conversation between them! It was like she was saying goodbye or something.)

At this point, having a kid under our care in the game is exactly like having a real kid. As Cho and his C-team were dealing with the muties, I began wondering where's the girl? I fired up the console for some tfc 1.

Turns out, she ran @ 100 yards away, so she could hide next to a lazer turret

During another battle, this time with raiders, the girl kept running toward the gunfight. One of them shot at her with a rifle, which scared the heck out of me. But fortunately Cho's a better shot.

Hide behind the adult (Another unplanned moment. Real kids do stuff like this sometimes when they're scared.)

"You're back. Thank the Goddess."

This latest batch is from Janet's game once again. She's tackling yet another Lopov enemy from the mod he made a couple years ago.

Janet got a Prim 'n' Proper haircut

Weynon (or ... Weyon?) (He is a sniper who lived on the overpass above Springvale Elementary. Weynon was cited by The Regulators for taking potshots at innocents who passed nearby)

Does anyone else notice a resemblance between Weynon and Biily Bob?

Thanks to the new Fallout TV show, I decided to re-roll January as a toon in Fallout 4.

January and Avery hanging out at home

Their Mr. Handy (Cray) is of course a goddessend

But they made it safely into the Vault

Following Dr. Sinister to the pods. He assures January that there is nothing alarming about his name. He is just left-handed.

Very neat. Jan and Avery look like themselves. Cray is a bit off though. . . perhaps a sweater and bow tie?

Holy ... So did you use the "husband and wife" scenario at the start of the game to get both of them onscreen? In effect, we can make both husband and wife?

Jan's looking good. Ha ha Cray == a bot. Well, we can probably say Cray merely speaks through this Mister Handy, maybe as a set of software from the original guy, encapsulated into a flying droid.

This show must really have some merit if it's inspired you to get back into F04. What is Jan's goal going to be? Which quests, if any?

Jan meets Bam

Bam is one of the bounties she's supposed to hunt. As we can see, Janet is able to walk right up to the guy. This is because (like Vicious) if Jan puts on some special raider armor she becomes part of a faction which is compatible with the raiders.

BKKSSHHHH!!! (she slipped a grenade in Bam's pocket, again a similar trick to Vicious)

Rawr/Rory sweeps the Brahmin pen!

Rawr (whose real name is Rory) is another enemy who's done some evil in his past. But as we can see, the guy's behaving himself, sweeping Canterbury Common's brahmin pen with a PINK broom! Janet let the guy live, which means she forfeit all the money she was offered from the Regulators.

I can't believe I missed this. Sorry Renee, I must have meant to reply then forgot about it.

In Fallout 4 you can create both a male and female character at the start of the game. So I made custom faces for each, then went with the female option as my PC. That way I got both Avery and Jan in the very start of the game.

I remember that mod. That is one of Lopov's.

Yes, that is the same Janet who I wrote a story with way back in 2017. I still game with her. Cho & Janet are my main gaming characters while Vicious is my story character, although her story's about to end in maybe 3 more episodes. Graci.

Back when Lopov released his mod during 2021 (COVID times), Enemies of the Wastes, I joked it would take me 'over a year' to complete all 20 of its bounties. Yeah, here we are nearly 4 years later.

Today's set of pictures occurs in Friendship Heights, the metro station where a bunch of bandits dwell. Thing is, my Janet does the same thing Vicious did, she dresses the part sometimes, allowing her to enter raider territory with rare consequences. Which is what happens in today's panorama. I considered having her not wear raider armor, so that she'd get attacked right away. That'd be way more challenging! But nah... I wanted some screenshots, which meant a safer environment with less chaos goin on. So she did the imposter thing once again.

The bounty she was after this time dealt with a trio of enemies: Red, Blue, and Green. Roll it!



Janet meets Blue. "Eh, you got a smoke?"

Then plots her next move.

She meets Green.

(Janet's customized lazer rifle has a weird glitch which causes most enemies to stagger when hit. I have no idea why it does this; all I did was slightly enhance damage, improve accuracy... little stuff like that. This, of course, is one of those rare glitches I hope never fixes itself!)

Now it's Green's turn Jan ate a Stealth Boy because some of Friendship's raiders were getting pissed.

Janet goes on a colorful warpath! I like her outfit - the skirt is almost short enough to show her last name.

Here are some screenshots from Lopov's mod, Enemies of the Wastes. This time Janet fought with the Goslin family. Allow me to share the Note added into Jan's Pip Girl®, just to set this up properly...

Name: The Goslin Family
Age: various

Whereabouts: NW of the Capital Wasteland
Reward: 900 caps

This family of inbreds and yokels has been a significant threat for anyone that ventures too close to their shack. Although the Goslins rarely leave their abode, they've been responsible for numerous deaths of unfortunate adventurers that got too close. Goslins have also taken down some Regulators.

HINT: If you have a friend or two, bring them along. There are probably plenty of Goslins around.

So that hint led me to build a regiment of soldiers for Janet, all of them Talons of course. Main guy carries a flamethrower, while two others use standard machine guns & shotguns.

Janet's regiment travels the Wastes

"YES MA'AM!"

"No fun standing around..." -- (Jan told him to wait before approaching Goslin's shack. Reason of course: she wanted to scout the place without her maniacal brothers ruining the stakeout!)

About half the Goslins attacked once Janet showed up to the place full-force with her team. Half Goslins attacked, the other half remained docile. Which is how I was able to get the three screenies below.

Yeah Lopov, some of these Goslins were tough! Getting hit by a flamethrower over and over, and they're still coming. Jan would've been super-overwhelmed without her soldiers.

Nice to see my work in games of others.

I already forgot how ugly they are.

They're tough, I know, that's why it's recommended to bring friends along to the party.

They shouldn't be friendly, however. Maybe I aligned them to some faction that's "friendly" to Janet, because she's wearing her raider outfit.
