Seriously though, should it still be called a tomb if you live there? Would a mausoleum still be a mausoleum if someone lives out of one? Or should it then be considered a really stoney house? Or do you just go with whatever it’s original purpose was intended for?

Yeah, it really does make for some great possibilities. I'm thinking of throwing down a couple of them with my next character.

Can we also lock the door to it with the locksmith mod? You know, to keep the rabble out? Also, is there a tile set that allows for the catacomb like architecture of the railroad hq? That would be ideal in a cemetery underground home.

There is no navmeshing for NPCs to enter the bunker, so they are truly private. You'll never have someone wander in. They actually aren't navmeshed inside either, so if you tell a companion to wait while inside, they will be stuck there until you return.
No prefabs like the Railroad HQ, though. They are mostly emergency bunkers or fallout shelters.

That’s good about the no navmeshing in the bunkers. Sad about the no railroad hq tile set though. That could’ve been really cool too.

Reasonable Workbench Perks. Never again shall I need to invest in Local Leader just to build crafting stations!

Armor Workbench - Armorer 2
Chemistry Station - Chemist 2 OR Demolitions Expert 2 (The two different styles use different perks)
Cooking Station - NONE!
Power Armor Station - Armorer 1, Science 2
Weapons Workbench - Gun Nut 2 OR Blacksmith 2 (The two different styles use different perks)

I just made a mod of my own to remove the requirements for making any kind of crafting station. Simpler that way.

Fallout 4 - Point Lookout

Talk about a hefty mod!

It looks neat. But unfortunately it requires the Extended Dialogue Interface mod to work. That in turn replaces the Fallout 4\Data\Interface\DialogueMenu.swf file. So it is incompatible with any mod that modifies that. Naturally I do - Vault Girl changes it. So I won't be able to play it.

Long Loading Times Fix is a mod I found a few days ago for Fallout 4. Since I have been using it, I found that it dramatically shortens the load times. I have only been in Sanctuary and Concord and the countryside around, but I have seen a noticeable difference so far.

It does require the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE), and there are several versions of the mod, depending on what your game version and F4SE version you have. I have 1.10.163.0, but I found that version did not work for me. I had to use the version under Old Files for it to work.

Amazing Follower Tweaks, works on Xbox. Now I can command Clodsworth from a distance: Wait, Follow, Summon, set Aggression ratings, and so on. I won't use this for Jenn's Dog, though. I had AFT for PC in Skyrim too, though I made my own follower systems as well. If Cho put on some special goggles his C-team would come find him in real-time (not summon) for instance.

Water Resources Expanded, allows extra sources to drink water from, including sinks, for those who want to heal up more often (in Fallout 3 and New Vegas working sinks are common). Not every sink becomes useful though, I've only found two (in Corvega factory), though one of these sinks works in the base game as well, so it seems this Creation does nothing at all by default, dangit. The original version of WRE says we can only add these into Settlements, though. Apparently most sinks in the game remain dummies.

Become a Bounty Hunter, again on Xbox. To start these missions, go to Diamond City and pick up the "Call for more Bounty Hunters" flyer pinned to the All Faiths Chapel wall, or find the same flyer pinned to the wall of the Kill or Be Killed store in Goodneighbor.

Ammo-matic -- Turns scrap and junk and certain craftable items into ammo at dedicated machines added into the Commonwealth.

Merchant Tracker -- a nifty, somewhat cheaty mod which tracks some of the wandering merchants in the Commonwealth. I have no idea how it works, yet. Don't see these merchants on the map.

Spring in the Commonwealth (Grass Overhaul) -- lushes up tufts of grass and makes it greener. Adds more flowers too, hopefully. 🌸🌹🌺🌼🥀

Springtime Trees adds leaves to trees. Nice and greener

Only Clear Weather for Commonwealth-Far Harbor-Nuka World -- I enjoy a good storm, but sometimes toggle this on during rad storms since there isn't a way to completely remove radiation damage during rad storms.

I added a bunch of healing-type mods into FO4 as well, as my Jenn X gal is constantly getting beat up/dying under my n00by hands. Some of these border on cheating in my opinion, but we also need some HELP in the game and even after several months I suck at combat lotsa times.



Vodka Heals Rads does what says, it's based on the STALKER game series.

Alcohol Absorbs Rads -- only available on Playstation, dangit. Otherwise it's similar to the mod above, seems like.



Doctor Casey adds a doctor companion into Kendall Hospital, in Cambridge. ✝ She can heal us twice a day. Kind of cheating, but like I said we need some help. The Water Resources Expanded mod I found up above barely seems to add drinkable sinks or hydrants into the game. I have yet to find any at all.

Good enough for me.

Radpack makes RadAways heal some HP as well IF we've got the Medic perk. We've got to craft these unfortunately, otherwise this would be pretty cheaty.

Wasteland Wound Care puts bandages in the game, which heal slower than Stimpaks and are craftable. Careful though, if a bandage is dirty this can also make us sicker. Not really cheaty; these Band-Aids don't restore much HP. Note: Penny in Covenant sells these.
