Oh, no. Plenty of rest and hot drinks, and I hope you recover quickly!
As for EU: I'm hoping to make it, but an issue has come up, so I might very well be late (not quite sure how late) and knackered, as I'm thinking it might be between Half Eleven and Midnight before I actually get home. We'll see.

Attuning will require access to the new crafting locations in the East half, so it depends on when phase 3 happens, and on whether the character doing it has to complete any quests to be allowed through the wall. I am trying to find out on PTS, but it is not at all clear.
With the recent bugs letting players cross prematurely, I get worried I would attune them, and then lose them to a hotfix, too.

Oh how sweet!!!! Thank you so very much!!! I haven't figured out how we get to them yet. I did the main quest for Solstice, but it ended at "Help the Fellowship." Yesterday I saw a big hole in the Writhing Wall on the NA server, but still couldn't go through it. Not really sure why it was there or if it was showing the Wall was about to come down. The Writhing Wall thing was only at 81 though; and I think it has to be at 100 for us to get through it.
I thought crossing into it was Phase 2, does anyone know more about how this is going to be done?

Gaaaaah, never thought of that, but as a matter of fact they DID reset my (having discovered and used for several days) access to the Wayshrine at the Rampart Camp. I had to "re-find" it.

It was a bug, some players had managed to get to the other side of the wall before they were supposed to, hence why there was yet another maintenance today (along with fixing the Tales of Tribute leader board. Which I didn't even realise was a thing

Oh, how I love your optimism. When we finish Phase 1, we go into Phase 2, which adds more crafting dailies, a world boss, and harder siege fights. When that's over we move to Phase 3, which is a one off event to bring down the wall. When that's completed we get access to the other side. I'd guess Phase 2 will finish when the consoles get Update 48 on November 12th, so then everybody (PC and Console) will get access to the week long event and unlocking the other side around the same time.

Oh, ok = Thank you for clearing that up, I kept thinking when we reached 100 we would get through the wall, fight for a tower, then go get those tables and Phase three would be some extra stuff like dailies on the other side of the Wall or something. Yeah, just dreaming here, lol.

PTS has already moved on to post-phase-3 state. A character apparently needs to do the Western Solstice quests before they can get through, even after the wall is down in general, so I'll make sure Fleur has that all done beforehand, maybe run all my EU characters through it.
I tried to do the Eastern side quest line on PTS, but hit a progress-stopping bug about half-way through.

That gets complicated. It's two guilds, one on each PC server, NA and EU, with the same name. Not all accounts play on both, and some of us have multiple accounts. So it all depends on how you count, and where.
We're small; we have enough for a guild bank, which was the important milestone, but we don't have a trader. There should be an image in the thread of the heraldry, but without a trader to wear it, you'd have to find us at a monthly meeting to see it in the game.

DE, which server are you on? If it's PCNA or PCEU and you provide your @UserID, one of us can send you a guild invite. We maintain a full service guild hall with every crafting station and much more and have a monthly guild get together where we chat, share what we're doing and generally go do a bit of adventuring. Only about 6 of us are active so very small. We also have a discord channel so we can chat in voice.

The Writhing Wall event is finally at 100% (thank goodness), which means the week long "break the fortress thingy" will be starting. The Fortress is currently bugged on PS, and nobody yet knows if the same is true on the others. We should wait for the fix.
Fleur needs to get the crafting stations attuned once the East is open, but we don't want to risk a rollback if the fix requires one.

I assume some have done the Writhing Fortress on at least one character. Has that made anyone want to do it again?
It was of course packed for the initial run, but may be more challenging with fewer participants on later runs. There are mechanics that will kill you, and the first run was a learning experience that didn't teach me enough. However, it won't be there for long, so by the time I understand it all, it will be gone.

My experience made me not excited to do it again.
I took two other characters in after EU Jerric (one three times) and was not able to complete the event again due to bugs. In one case a gate that was supposed to open did not, and in the other cases the final boss kept resetting.
I could only figure out two mechanics. One there are floating balls that you can attack to receive a temporary shield so you can cross the azure plasm without damage. The other is you have to pick up siege repair kits from dead enemies using a synergy or from barrels to repair the ballistas that you have to use against the huge bosses. Each repaired ballista fires two shots before breaking. You can only carry one repair kit at a time (it appears as a backpack). I can't adequately express how annoying this is.
The bosses are like mega trial bosses, so you really need to go in with a crowd. If the NA Phase 3 starts while I can do it I will with Jerric, with eyes rolling and fingers crossed!

Buffy went into the Writhing Fortress and, though never overly in danger, just found it too tedious and confusing. So after about one boss, we decided it was not fun or enjoyable in any way and ported to the Snugpod with no intent to return. There are so many fun things in ESO that we're just not going to waste time with unfun things.

Since mALX has attuned the tables, I assume she did it, on NA.
My experience of being able to cross to the eastern half without doing the Fortress makes me want to just skip it on NA. I didn't run into bugs on EU, but that was just one run (and the first one for the server). I gather the bugs show up on re-runs, and may be caused by incomplete resetting of the dungeon. That may get worse as more players join in-progress, and there are still characters in the instance when things want to reset.
PTS did not have enough concurrent testers to find it all.

Lol, yes = attuned the tables on the NA Server, lol.
I did the Writhing Fortress on the NA with Haute Ecole Rider's friends Bear and Grey. It was tedious, but not too bad with the numbers there to help. I would hate to have to try it without help, lol.
Honestly = I really don't want to do it on the EU, but I will if someone else needs or wants a group to go through it with = that def makes it easier to be able to follow Crowns and group markers.
Also, I didn't do the Public Dungeons in Eastern Solstice yet either; (or possibly not in Western Solstice unless we did it in the Guild) and only one WB in Western Solstice and possibly one in Eastern Solstice.
So if we are going to do a special Event Guild Meet on either Server, I would like to join and try to get some of the harder content over with the help of a group, and yes = hopefully while there are still a bunch of players running around over there.
The main quest so far seems more fun than the Western side's.

Nov 17 2025, 08:49 AM
When you do the quests in the East watch out for the bug with the soul flayers. When you get the map, the eastern one is nearest, but you must do the western one first, or the quest gets stuck. I was chatting with Rider when I ran into that last night, and had to abandon the whole quest, go back to the camp in the east, and pick it up again.
I just ran one character through the main story, and ignored all side quests, delves, public dungeon etc. Will happily go back to fill in.
And next event starts on 20th, so a combo is possible. That's a Morrowind/CWC/Summerset thing with tickets.
