Oh, I absolutely LOVE that one! If you watch the behemoth, it moves in a certain pattern, and the artillery strike also moves in a certain pattern - you just have to realize where it is going to strike next and remember when the behemoth will go there next and call in the hit then.

It’s fun to see the Bethesda family resemblance among their games. Swamp Ghoul could almost have been taken north of Morthal.

Is that dinosaur vanilla?

It is a completely vanilla dinosaur. There is another one in the Museum of Natural History I believe. So they just reused the same mesh. I found that under every buoy in the water around Point Lookout, there is some sunken goodie on the bottom of the ocean. So you can just swim from one buoy to the other and dive down for treasure!

That is how I did it (and also found the dinosaur) on the 360. But in this PC game I couldn't get 10 feet without being pulled under by Mirelurk; and the gun won't shoot while swimming. Wasn't sure if Fisto would work underwater either.

And Molly is swimming in her undies! Did she not have to fight anything? Holy Cow! That is the second time I've seen one of your girls find treasure in mirelurk infested water in their undies! Misa needs to take swimming lessons from you,

That is awesome you were able to port those two weapons! Did you use Blender or NifUtils? I got one item converted but was never able to get the collision on it with everything going on. Today the nice friend of Stroti who converts all his things for him finished it for me as a gift; I nearly cried because I'd been working so long to get that one item in my mod and didn't think I'd ever get it. That was so nice!

I’m with mALX in really liking the swimming/sub one. I love her hair under water! I’m trying to decide if it helps her swim or helps her breathe under water.

Gator country is very cool also and really captures a swamp feel.

Ahah, I see on her new axe. I seem to recall an ethereal looking blue hue to her axe – almost like a conjured/bound weapon color and wondered what happened to that one.

Oh, and her civil war style hat looks just right for where she is and what she's doing.

Gator Country made me think of how mutated alligators would look like. Swampagators? Maybe it's good they weren't included.

I never looked that the house gets destroyed, it could be used as a great home because besides Obadiah's manor there aren't any proper houses in PL.

I agree with Lopov, the first time I played the game I thought it would just be a typical game explosion and might use the house as a player house afterward. When the house was totally destroyed I was disappointed that Bethesda hadn't salvaged it for the Player - and I was on the 360 and couldn't do it.

mALX, you do not have to do anything special to port meshes between FONV and Fallout 3. They are the same game. All you have to do is copy the .nif files from one game to the other, along with the textures, and create an item entry for them. It only took about ten minutes to make the two axes.

Chinese Stealth Armor and a bonnet!

Misa was in the Pitt? Molly is headed there next! I have my eye on that Tribal Powered Armor. I loved the Steelyard.

A glitch happened to me either at the end of Point Lookout when I did the main quest sacred bog and got ported around or at the Pitt when they strip you of everything - not sure which; but I lost 9 perks. I think when they take your items, they accidentally take your perks too; not sure.

That never happened to me before on the 360, so it was kind of a shock.

On the 360 I loved the Steelyard too, it was my favorite place in the DLC; but both my hand-to-hand perks were gone; all ranks of them - so Misa was pretty weak against the Troggs.

On those high shots I was getting seriously height sick as if I was up there too, and my left hand kept mashing the "Q" (auto-walk /run) and scaring the crap out of me! And those ingots on the high pipe! Was pretty sure I'd see Misa falling to her death getting them!

I don't remember seeing the Tribal armor before, but I LOVED it! Misa wore it the remainder of her time in the Pitt! Misa took a page from Molly's book; didn't like the way Werner talked to her. He swims with the fishes now,


Oh, I meant to respond before now - I did not know items could be transferred so easily between Fallout 3 and New Vegas! How cool is that! Why couldn't Bethesda be that thoughtful with Skyrim!

Arcry! Yeah!!!!! Oh, she is using a dumpster for storage and living on the mat beside it - Now that is a roleplay I could really get into! These are some great shots, I'll bet Ries is a real character! Awesome to have you joining the Wasteland journeys! (even in the Mojave, lol).

Eheh, yeah. She used to use Gibson's Scrapyard as a base when I found a little van mod. Kept it there till I could find fuel for it. 'n now she's running around in that. Before she left she cleaned out Novac's resident Giftshop in the night, stole all of Cliff's dinos 'n rockets 'n threw 'em in the scrapyard.

I was desperate for caps for an anti-material rifle one game and stole the dinos (and I think the radiated rockets too) to sell at the Gunrunners shop. It took a bunch of trips, lol.

Arcry, loved the pics! Those Dino toys make me want to play NV again. I have always wanted to steal as many as I can then blow them up with mines everywhere. It would be raining dinosaurs!

Oh it's a part of a mod I use that adds a hotkey 'n hud specifically for explosives 'n thrown weapons. All apart of a overhaul mod called Project Nevada. And yea, she is tipping the Brahmin, ehe, recently learned that you can do that in NV if you approach 'em while crouched.

I knew about it, but haven't tried it yet for some odd reason, lol.

@mALX - great shots but the one with Jackson and high above Steelyard are my favorite. What a view! Misa has unique clothing style, combining a pre-war hat with a stealth suit.

@Arcry - powder gangsters got what they deserved. As did ex-cons from Primm, it seems. Lol at the one with stopping brahmins.

@SubRosa - Welcome to the Pitt looks like from some gaming magazine. Hey, that's more than just a hatchet! Metal armor and the matching helmet remind me of Nordic Carved armor from Skyrim. Looks like that the "hatchet" works as it should. A fitting end for Ashur.

This has to be my fave that pipe was so scary to cross; and to have you spin the camera right then! But this is an Awesome shot to begin with, then a great shot of Molly too!

Molly was smart to get armor and weapons before finishing the Steelyard; I didn't remember that Everett would give you weapons and armor or would have been bringing them in 10 at a time!!!! How many injuries I could have saved Misa if I'd thought of that, urk !!!






I hate to admit it, but that is taking advantage of a glitch in the Stealth suit. You can wear as many hats as you have while wearing it, so Misa is wearing several hats that aid in perception; sneak; barter; speechcraft; and melee boosts.


It is not so much that I play with cheats, this is just the first time I've ever played on the PC and could try these things, so was trying out everything I couldn't do playing on the 360, lol.

The Pitt – clearly not where Brad (and his tombraider) live. Similarly, I don’t think the Steelers hail from the Steelyard.

Breaking into the Player Suite in Tenpenny Towers - surprisingly the robot butler waits on you and you can still get your well rested bonus! The storage is still safe, you just can't upgrade anything without a mod to do it!

mALX- Vault 87. Noooo!

I could have taken about 87 of those same shots, lol. Made it to the door every time coming from the North, but with my left hand not functional, could not survive it/escape/or push the hotkey quickly enough while running.

Wow, I had no idea you could basically live in Tenpenny Tower just by using the unlock command on the door of the suite!

That is all I did, unlocked both doors using the console and now they stay unlocked and I can go back to it whenever. The butler robot welcomes you home and says it is good to see you; and tells you that you can buy special items for the home through XX person - but I tried, they don't offer them.

I did consider making a small mod to remove the conditions for her to sell you those items; and may still yet when I get some free time, lol.

There is probably a quest that makes the person - I am guessing Lydia Montenegro? - sell you the room upgrades. Let me poke in the Geck for a minute...

There it is! It is called My House In Tenpenny Tower. The editor ID is HD02. There are only two stages, 0 and 100. So try this at the console:

That just might do the trick.


You have a good eye for places. That chessboard with the garden gnomes was from one of those sat com arrays. I forget which one. And of course the bomb storage was Fort Constantine.
