@SubRosa: I have to agree with you, the black and red does look better on her. I think she’ll keep her old armor though. It was a fun experiment and Vilja has some new armor now. What I liked best about the Silverlight armor was that it kept a reasonable bust size. So few armors do that. That actually sounds very easy to do. I wonder if I can just use TES4Edit to modify the armor. Aravi was curious about the Caverns right up until she saw it was occupied, likely by bandits. With her new reservations about using her bow, she decided to leave rather than continue. Thanks SubRosa! @Grits: She’ll definitely have to enchant the nearly naked version with frost shield if she’s going wear it. I think she will hang onto the set now that you mention a case that she could wear it. In the cavern she realized she wasn’t ready to fight yet. I’m very glad she decided to turn around and enjoy the countryside instead. Aravi shares that hatred of those damn things with me. Then the scamp… that was priceless like SubRosa said. She wanted to sprint down the mountain when the lightning started! Thanks Grits! @Acadian: Aravi shall remain in her regular armor. Vilja will have a shiny new set to wear though! She’s still very uncomfortable about shooting people with her bow, but as you saw, gross spiders and stupid daedra are fair game. Oh no, Vilja’s started the “Am I fat?” phase again. I think Vilja could out talk even Buffy! Watch out! Thanks Acadian! @mALX: She needed that potion so fast! Aravi thought it was funny too seeing her standing in the pond getting her dress all wet. I’m glad you liked it, Aravi need some time out in the sun and away from all the death and darkness. When Vilja wears the armor she wears the helmet. So no, her hair doesn’t change. I just liked how her eyes were looking to the side instead of looking straight ahead in that one screen. She didn’t meet the ghost from the fort, but she was still uneasy about fighting humanoids. Plus she came out to Chorrol to get away from death. Aravi loves hiking up those mountains too. Now if only the weather will behave. Thanks mALX! @Feralikazam: Hello! I’m glad you saw how the voice fit. I tried it because I was sick of having a silent character. It took a little time to get used to and now I love it. Of all things Aravi could have done, I don’t know why she decided to fight vampires. It’s no easy task, because even when the vampires are dead the fight isn’t over. She gets terrible nightmares, and the disease becomes more difficult to get rid of. She hasn’t become a full blown vampire yet, but she has had a few close calls. Thanks for stopping by! ############################## The quest Aravi receives from the Order.############################## Aravi and Vilja leave Chorrol after Aravi has a scare. Uh oh. Sick again? This is not good! Good choice on the strawberry vs. sweetroll, since Vilja is worried about getting fat.
Holy smokes, Aravi’s really si—Oooh, silver belly chain, nice! – sick. Is she getting the disease without being exposed now, or maybe it’s just coming back? Yikes.
Aravi’s little head shake when Vilja trotted off to lead the way somewhere was hilarious. I had a feeling she was um, not going to follow Vilja. She was kind of in a tough spot, either let Vilja lead or deal with her pouting on top of everything else.
It’s a nice day for a walk to Cheydinhal. I hope that blonde woman doesn’t show up somewhere along the way, that would be disturbing. (The one who said Aravi looks like a vampire, not Vilja.)

I don't think Aravi fits in with the people of the city anymore! Not when she scaring people by looking like a vampire! Cure Disease potions don't seem to be getting rid of the porpyhic homophobia either. This looks bad. Bad enough to head out into a thunderstorm, that mysteriously vanished as soon as she stepped out the door of the inn! Go to love Oblivion's weather in separate cells. Don't you ever get tired of listening to Aravi gasping all the time? It sounds like she cannot control herself around Vilja! I would get rid of that mod in a second. Buffy's Apartment looks really nice! I especially liked the touch of the statue of Mara on the mantle and the Mage starsign tapestry. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Nov 2 2011, 05:47 PM

Oh no! Now people are beginning to think Aravi is a vampire! Time to leave Chorrol. She really wasn’t comfortable in The Imperial City either. And I vividly remember why she shook her head and bypassed the Wawnut Inn. How horrible for Aravi to have such awful memories of Nerussa's inn. Gosh, I know that Teresa's memories there are ever so much nicer! I’m glad Aravi found some comfort by staying at Buffy’s apartment. As you can see, there is plenty of room to share. I was relieved to see, the next morning, Aravi stock back up on cure disease pote-tshuns (that’s Vilja-speak) and some root of the man-drake. What fun to put Vilja in the lead. Love Aravi’s little perfectly-delivered head shakes. After the fireside chat between Buffy and Aravi the other night up at the Oak & Crosier, then reading that parchment detailing the horrific events near Cheydinhal, Buffy is very concerned for Aravi’s physical and emotional state. She and Superian rode straight to Harlun’s Watch. Tracking of clues led her south by southeast to the likely lair of those foul vampires. She cleared outside and will stay there on watch until Aravi arrives - Screenshot As ever, KC, I am in awe of how your mastery of this media allows Aravi’s beautiful personality to burst from the screen.

Holy crap! I freaked out right away when the Khajiit said Aravi had frightened her - then when the other girl said that - GAAAAH !!! The other girl had a message about vampires, did you see what she had to say and just edit it from the vid? She is not a regular NPC either, could have something to do with the mod.
Oh, I like how Aravi shook her head when she saw the Wawnut Inn - I don't blame her !!! Looks like she's given Vilja the slip, lol. I agree with Grits too, I laughed when Aravi shook her head and then took her time leaving - the feeling was that Vilja may be leading herself to the surprise destination. Also agree that it was better than listening to sulking and pouting if Aravi had said any other answer, lol.
The second vid worried me a lot - not only did Aravi have the vampire disease again even without sleeping - but she was darting around quickly like vampires do !!! URK !!! Awesome Vids, and kind of cliffhanging with that second one !!! Glad she bought more cure disease and mandrake root !!!

@Grits: The vampire disease has been coming back on its own for a while now… just not that fast before. Vilja was in one of her moods again on the way to the Imperial City. She was constantly asking Aravi loaded questions. Aravi was glad to be rid of her for a while. Silver belly chain just for you. Nice screen of Jerric! I was expecting a few more bottles though. Maybe they are all on the floor already empty? Thanks Grits! @SubRosa: It must have been a joke or typo, but I must correct you, Aravi doesn’t have homophobia!! The disease keeps reoccurring. She has had to keep a good supply of mandrake or potions to keep ahead of it, or else wake up as one of them. Aravi actually waited over by the fire for the storm to die out and kept away from the others in the room. I edited out most of it for time. I should have left more in though. I like the fatigue mod, but yes sometimes the gasping gets annoying. She had a lot of drain fatigue effects on her due to the vampire disease. Looks like Artemisia really got sidetracked. That red Silverlight armor looks like it fits in around there in the Deadlands. Thanks SubRosa! @Acadian: That was the first time people have actually been scared of Aravi. She was terrified too. She would have stopped at the Wawnut Inn, but you understand why she looked for lodging elsewhere. Buffy’s apartment was perfect. She was lucky Buffy was out of town and they let her inside again. Vilja was in a bad mood again. Aravi let her go off to who knows where and waited for her to show up again outside the Imperial City. I thank you and Buffy for your concern for Aravi. She feels much better knowing Buffy’s looked over the area already. Buffy and Superian are looking great as usual. Thanks Acadian and thanks for the wonderful compliments! @mALX: Aravi thought the inn keeper was acting strange, but didn’t really think a lot of it until the other woman said something. Aravi didn’t ask her about vampires she was too ready to get out of there. That woman may be involved with a quest later on in that mod. I’m glad you very much understand why Aravi slipped away from Vilja. You know exactly how rude she can be. Aravi had some nervous energy in anticipation of this next quest. That’s why she’s been darting here and there. Thanks mALX! ##################################### I try to keep my episodes under ten minutes and usually go for less than that as well with my quick posting pace, but I could not get this one any shorter. ###################################### Aravi and Vilja arrive at Fort Naso, where they suspect the vampires have made their home.TIME: 7:31 Aravi finishes them off.TIME: 5:06

I loved how you ran that free cam back to the entrance where Aravi and Vilja were !!! Vilja looks really cool in the new armor !! GAAAH! Aravi missed the chest and the coffin for loot !! Boy did your Patriarch have better loot than mine did, lol. That Dremora scared me, I couldn't figure out where it could have come from !! Was it a conjured thing or a vampire? GAAAH! The vid ended before I could see the other vampire's loot !! Lol. *** Holy cow, that place was filled with them! I was surprised Aravi didn't get another journal entry saying she had gotten them all, is it possible there were more in there? That vid had me holding my breath right from the start !! AWESOME VIDS !!!!! *** Maxical heard that Aravi was following a lead about a sect of gross vampire perverts holed up in Ft. Naso. Hoping to learn more about Aravi's vampire killing tactics, Maxical volunteers Alix the Mouse to help Aravi so she can observe Aravi's methods. Maxical ran to the top ledge to watch while Alix took care of the wolves: http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq67/Ma...FtNasoCo-op.jpg"Hey Alix, look what I found on this skeleton up here!" Maxical & Alix found an unfriendly...GAAAAH! What's that on Maxical's back? Be careful Alix !!!! http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq67/Ma...tNasoCo-op1.jpgAlix is quaking as Maxical makes her first kill with the bow she found on a skeleton outside the Fort !!! http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq67/Ma...FtNasoCo-op.jpg

That's a malapropism of mine. Whenever I see poryphic hemophilia, I think poryphic homophobia. There is more than a little Lady Rugdumph in me! Vilja looks great in her new armor. It really does suit her. I see she has a nordic axe as well. I installed Real Swords - Nord a long time back just to get that for a character. Very cool fly through of the dungeon when the girls first entered! Although I have to admit I was a bit dismayed when Vilja asked if Aravi knew of a cure for vampirism... Just out of curiousity, can Vilja get infected by vampirism? My initial thought would be no, since as far as I am aware it is basically a scripted process that only effects the player character. But I don't know how much Emma has put into the mod. How nice of Vilja to just stand there and watch while Aravi took on Sahida on her own! I think Emma has fixed that in her latest version of Vilja, but adding a spell that makes her fight. Oops, I saw you use it later on. Looks like Imoen was right about that vampire witchhunter. Her blade did indeed cut her down to size! I see what you mean about Aravi not using her bow much anymore. She had a few opportunities to put it good use here. Like making a first strike against Sahida, or that vampire archer at the beginning of the second vid. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Nov 5 2011, 05:17 PM

A fun and interesting technique of giving us a pre-tour of the fort by disassociating the camera from our heroines. Vilja’s armor looks great – on Vilja. I’m happy Aravi kept her elven however. The Matriarch fight! Superb thinking by Aravi to use a silence poison. Argh! Why was Vilja just standing there?!? Eeep! Buffy wet her greaves when that Dremora charged her from nowhere! Like mALX, it took me a moment to realize it was a summon. Then we found out it came from that vampire Witchhunter. But at least Vilja jumped back into action. Because Aravi wisely silenced that Matriarch, the fight with the Witchhunter was actually the harder fight! Oh my! Aravi went down hard to that one arrow from the Acrobat – what an archer! And that Spellsword was no slouch either. And a couple of wolves too! So glad Aravi called on a scamp to help and that she had Vilja with her. “Aren’t you horribly afraid of those vampires? I am,” said Vilja. The small elf on my shoulder (with wet greaves) was squirming and vigorously nodding her agreement here. I’m so glad Aravi got her sword back. Every time she went into her inventory, I was afraid she was going to poison her foes with Red Hair Dye. Argh! While Aravi was fighting that Scout, Vilja got another case of ‘I’ll just stand right here and let my furry little friend get pummeled.’ At least she finally stepped up, even tossing in a ‘Leave her alone!’. Loved the punch Aravi gave that dead Scout! What a heart pounding blast both these vids were! Thank you KC. Beautiful job. * Maxical with a bow!?! I surely hope she was aiming directly at Alix when she shot to ensure he would be completely safe from her arrows! I’m so hoping that Artemisia can finish up with that pesky Oblivion Gate stuff and join the gathering of friends at Fort Naso. And of course no such affair would be complete without Jerric! * Buffy took some notes and pictures at Fort Naso: Well, I hated to kill a bear, but he attacked Superian. I can be as much a mother grizzly as any bear when it comes to protecting my mare. You should be safe out here now, my precious girl. Screenshot1 Scouting the vampires’ lair. Screenshot2 The best way to kill a vampire is to convince another vampire to do it for you. Illusion means never having to run. Screenshot3 A Patriarch! Lay one hand on my friend Aravi and you’re vampire dust! Screenshot4EDIT: Oh I'm so glad that Jerric and Lili made it! Grits and I were posting at the same time it seems. Wonderful screens, Grits! Vilja looks great in her new armor. She’s much easier to see in the dark. Aravi does such a good job not hitting her. That under the wolf swooping camera opening was great!! And then Vilja asked about a cure. Aravi looks fierce! We don’t usually see her face like that. LOL, when Aravi left the Patriarch’s chamber, I thought, oh no! She didn’t show mALX the loot from the coffin!! Vilja picked a nice time for a little break while Aravi fought the matriarch! Then she redeemed herself right away against the surprise dremora. He came in so fast, it looked like he was on a skateboard. Oh, that was scary when Aravi got knocked down by the arrow and run over by the wolf while Vilja stood there watching! It got pretty hectic for awhile. I love the shot of Aravi, Vilja, and the scamp standing amongst the bodies. I really thought Aravi would use her new bow against that Vampire Scout, but she crept all the way up with her blade. And Vilja watched again, strike three. She’s too sexy for fighting in her new armor. Oh wait, she redeemed herself again. I love it when she tells the bad guys to leave her friend alone. Aravi’s toughness and determination really show here. She just keeps getting it done. *** Jerric and Lildereth made it to Fort Naso to support their friends already at work. Lildereth asked Jerric to guard the door, since there’s no such thing as two Nords sneaking around in the dark. Jerric stopped by Harlun’s Watch first to get directions and check on the bitten folks. Anyone need healing? No, are you sure? Since Buffy’s up top, Lildereth said I should take the low ground. As usual. She’s just naturally curious.Lildereth finds a shadow. And a light.I should mention that Lildereth was especially careful to watch for her tailed friends throughout. ETA: Ninja’d! Woo hoo, great shots of Buffy! Perfect aim with that spell! She doesn’t need chameleon with that black armor. I bet the Patriarch never knew what got him. LOL, I didn’t think about hiding that bow and those arrows from Maxical. Maybe it’s a good thing that the biggest target stayed outside. I would love to see Alix take on those wolves! I bet there was some squeaking. Maxical got one with the bow!! Nice. I hope Alix’s nerves recover. This post has been edited by Grits: Nov 5 2011, 01:14 AM

@mALX: Glad you liked the intro to the dungeon, I wanted to do something different without showing too much of the enemies inside. I’m sorry mALX, I edited out most of the looting. I was pressed to keep those videos as short as I could and they still went way over. The Dremora was a nasty surprise. He was conjured by the witch hunter vampire. That mod basically places a boss enemy in the ruins it sends you to. Once the boss is dead, the mission is considered successful. Now I was about to say Alix vs wolves was my favorite screen, but Maxical with a bow?? And she didn’t hit Alix?? And she killed an enemy with it?? WOW! Thanks mALX! So glad you made it out to Fort Naso! @SubRosa: I suspected it was a joke. Lol! Vilja does look great, I’m happy you directed me to that mod. Even though it didn’t work for Aravi, Vilja greatly benefitted from it. Vilja cannot be turned into a vampire, nor can she catch any diseases. I’ve never had to deal with her catching any anyways. I do not have the new version installed though. I’m still on the last version of Vilja. I don’t know if you saw those episodes, but Aravi accidentally killed two adventurers with her bow and since then, she’s not used her bow very much, and never on a humanoid. Eventually she’ll learn to trust herself again. Glad Artemisia made it! That’s one lucky skeleton if he was overlooked by everyone else! The deer are nice, Jerric definitely wasn’t around if they are out. Thanks SubRosa! @Acadian: The white-blue of it really suits Vilja doesn’t it. Much better than the ranger style armor did. Aravi was about to just use damage health poison, but she noticed the robes and decided this Matriarch would cause less trouble if she couldn’t cast. Poor Buffy! That Dremora was a nasty surprise for Aravi too. I don’t know what the heck happened when she blocked that arrow, there just must have been a lot of force behind it that Aravi didn’t expect. While that was going on, I was having thoughts about Teresa’s latest episode and was silently urging Aravi to get up RIGHT NOW. @ Buffy’s agreement with Vilja Buffy’s screens are magnificent as well! I love the one of her casting some illusion at a distant glow in the dark. It sure is strange not being able to see everything. Thanks Acadian! @Grits: I should have used that as an opening more often, it was popular! I’m glad you liked Aravi’s look, though I thought she looked a little nervous when Vilja asked her about a cure. Thanks for reminding her that the only known cure is death. Aravi handled the matriarch pretty easily on her own, maybe Vilja was just keeping out of the way and letting Aravi finish her. That fight with the scout got really crazy, I kind of lost track of the recording and lost some of it. It was too good to toss out though. I’m glad I kept it. Yeah Vilja wasn’t going to help until Aravi called for it against that scout. He was very strong even with the weakness poison. Glad Jerric and Lildereth made it in. Where was Darnand though? I bet he is still at camp with a book in hand. I think my favorite screen of yours is the one with Lildereth checking out the chest. Just curious. I’m happy to hear she kept a watch for my Khajiit. Thanks Grits! ############################## Here's a screen I took recently. It has nothing to do with today's episode. I thought it was quite pretty though. ############################## Aravi goes to the Newlands Lodge to rest. Darnand regrets that he could not join the party at Fort Naso. Since Aravi’s illness has been coming back so quickly, he has been researching a cure for vampirism. He is deeply discouraged, as he has found nothing. Abiene suggests that Aravi come to stay with her in Chorrol for one month of daily treatments to fully rid herself of the disease. Understandably, that might not suit Aravi’s schedule. An alternate plan would be a trip north. Abiene believes that the colder climate will stimulate Aravi’s natural immunities, perhaps bringing about an end to the re-infections. Lildereth says the best way to avoid infection is to USE YOUR BOW. Jerric went back to Newlands Lodge, I’m happy to see that Aravi missed him. He demonstrated incredibly bad timing, if you can see who's walking in the door. Here’s his note from prison: Guess who they blamed.
SubRosa, It looks like Artemisia upgraded her bow again! That’s a nice picture with the friendly deer. They have faces! Cheydinhal Video: Guilbert was clearly overwhelmed by Aravi’s silver belly chain to the point where he abandoned his manners completely. Really, that nod toward the door should have been enough of a hint for him. When Aravi went to her inventory, I knew exactly what she was going to do. Eye of Fear, baby! And don’t let the door hit you. I think that Newlands Lodge might go on Aravi’s No Stay list. First the beastfolk remark, poor Guilbert acting completely smitten, and then the nastiest bed ever. That place is definitely best for just brawling. It is amazing that with a little camera move, you can show us exactly what Aravi is thinking! The Nightmare: Aravi trying to heal Vilja was so incredibly sad. That was the worst dream yet. Poor Aravi. That screenshot is very pretty, with all of the shades of red.

@ Everyone - I don't think anyone could have been as shocked as me when Maxical actually hit someone with a bow and arrow !! (And didn't hit Alix once!)
@ Acadian - that bear does look like it got awfully close to Superian !!! Great screens !!
@ Grits - Hey, why was Jerric stuck outside? No wonder he can be found brawling in bars if he isn't allowed to get out his energies in the dungeons, lol. And yes, really bad timing, lol. Loved these screens !!
@ SubRosa - Artemisia is gorgeous, I love that hair !! I agree with KC, that shot with the deer is Awesome !!
@ KC - Love that screen !!
URK !!! Aravi ... frightening the brother? Can she get in trouble for that? That bed looked positively frightening, lol. I'd have had to pick the smaller bed, it looked a LOT cleaner.
Aravi's nightmare was horrifying...bless her heart. I freaked when I saw Vilja down and not getting up with the healing !!! That was awful, and very sad.
Awesome vids !!!

Great screen, KC!
Cheydinhal. By Mara, Aravi surely needed that bath at the beginning to wash off the. . . Fort Naso. Like Grits, this time I too was oddly enthralled by that belly chain! I think her handling of Guilbert was sound. She gave him the ‘look’ and head nod as a warning, then ‘encouraged’ him to leave. It is not illegal to use a demoralize effect and Guilbert will be no worse for wear in a minute – if he even remembers it. I agree with both mALX and Grits, that the big bed was . . . nasty. Perhaps a frost spell to fumigate it first may have been a wise precaution? Oh, did I miss something her: It looked like Aravi checked herself before bed and noted the dreaded vampire disease. Then she took a cure poison potion instead of a cure disease potion (or mandrake root).
Nightmare. Wow, that acrobat was tough! Once the fight was over, as soon as Aravi started with the erratic head moves, I knew she was in a panic looking for Vilja. And what a terrible nightmare to see the death of her friend! I’m just so glad it was a dream.
Grits: Great screen of Jerric! Bad timing is right! Where is that Daedroth-summoning Breton when you neeeeed him?!? I know, I know, researching a cure for corprus, er I mean vampire disease. I think both Lildereth and Abiene offer great advice for Aravi.

@liliandra nadiar: Maybe it was mean. She was tired though. Aravi’s had some awful dreams but this is one of the worst ones she has had. Thanks for stopping by! @SubRosa: There were a couple of them in the sewer system. Aravi was expecting vampires and shot them both. She was devastated when she found out she just murdered two people. Aravi was in no mood for games with hopeful and/or drunk men. She had a small smile when he ran from the room like that though. Thanks SubRosa! @Grits: So Darnand was hitting the books. Thanks to both Darnand and Abiene for their effort and suggestions. Aravi’s still not comfortable with her bow yet, and the disease comes back with or without contact with vampires now. Jerric’s getting acquainted with the city guard I see! Guibert was overwhelmed by something; he needed some help out the door. The belly chain you think it was? Did the marker in her spell slot tip you off? She tried a more gentle spell first but he was unfazed (probably still fixated on Aravi’s midsection). Then it was time for the heavy duty stuff! She was tired so the state of the bed didn’t bother her as much as it should have. The other inn has that scary woman staying in it, and the mages guild was too far of a walk. The beast folk comment though… Aravi does not appreciate being called a beast! Especially by a Dunmer! Thanks Grits! @mALX: I didn’t think she would, but to be safe, I made a save before she did it. There were no guards stomping in her room while she was asleep so, no she didn’t! With the bed, I’m assuming those were holes in the bedspread and NOT stains… ugh. I think the mages guild hall will be Aravi’s choice in Cheydinhal if she ever gets back there. Thanks mALX! @Acadian: The belly chain has captured you too! Good thing there never are any guards posted on the walls, or else Aravi would have had to go well out of her way to bathe. Guilbert needed a little encouragement out the door since he was in her room and she wasn’t going to sleep in there with him hanging around. That would almost be as bad as Vigge She took the right potion, it was just the last one and the one right below it in her inventory was a cure poison. That bed was terrible looking but she was tired and those holes in the bedspread (yes they are holes, I said so) weren’t going to bother her too much when she wasn’t going to use the covers at all anyways.
