Thanks! You stay safe and warm then too! We froze yesterday, then today could go out in shorts and Tee shirts! Go figure!
On the heat = just for safety's sake we bought a kerosine heater last month (since everyone is talking about them shutting down the power grids, etc). Now if I can just figure out how to use it, lol.

Yeah, but usually our customers reach out to us. We usually don't reach out to them to ask if they need anything. We're manufacturers and sure, we need people ordering. But we're not door to door salesmen begging people to buy

No, but some times you gotta “work the account”! Call’m up and check on’m. See if they need anything. Here in ‘Murica, you can lose accounts if you aren’t checking on them regularly. I suppose it could be different in Sweden though.
mirocu
Nov 18 2025, 09:51 PM
Well, usually a bit different anyway I think. We take what jobs we get but we often not ask for it. Except for when Boss feels like calling someone to have a chat cause he's very social, he then also asks if they need something.
But it makes sense to "work the account" as sometimes we expect an order to come in but it hasn't yet. Then if we call and ask about it they immediately place an order cause they suddenly realized they needed it!

It's gasoline, btw. Not the stuff that you get at the pumps though, the premium stuff you buy in a plastic can.

Nov 19 2025, 10:22 PM
Well, this particular one is suitable for sensitive electronics and maybe it's built differently because of that. I see other generators in the same W range or lower that aren't suitable for that, and they are quite bigger.

I'm sure you guys must have those generators too, and I do recommend one if you can find it. Great for running your PC, charging your phone (yes; I'm all into that now

) and watching TV. All at once too if you have a splitter as each thing doesn't take much power. At least if you have a 2000W or better. But remember; it has to specifically be suited for sensitive electronics.
Also: keep those sneks away
