Lopov: The snow is a nice change from the swamps and ash of Morrowind.
Fort Frostmoth does not stay in one piece for very long if you do Solstheim's main quest!

It does not look much different than the Dragonborn version once the mq gets moving.
I thought beating someone with a severed limb was hilarious. It is a regular weapon too, so you can keep it and use it yourself!
I read up on the glacier bug, and you are right, it is a glitch in the distant land generation that happens if you use MGE (which I do). To fix it, there is a mod you can download that you have to select in the distant land generation, and create the distant land using it. But then of course if you start another character who has not done that particular quest yet, you have to run the distant land generation again without the mod. It just seems like more bother than it is worth, seeing that Persephone is done with Solstheim, at least in this game.
mirocu: You have to make sure you get all the animal entries. The bears and wolves are leveled, so there are 5 or 6 actors for each. The most powerful are named things like Blight Wolf, etc... which make them sound diseased or mutated. But they are just regular animals with higher stats. You also need to give the world time to reset after you activate it. I went inside a barrow and waited for 73 hours. After that your changes will work.
Acadian: I modded the weather of Dragonborn's Solstheim to eliminate the ash storms and bleak skies. So it always has an icy blue sky and polar sun. That makes it more appealing than the Morrowind version to me.
It was neat to fight the Unidentified Mutton's son, and to meet Svenja Snowsong. both bring back memories of Dive Rock.

But Persephone decided to go exploring instead, and tackled a few dwarven ruins and a Daedric Shrine before using her boots to levitate over the Ghost Fence and return to the Ashlands.
Her time in the gladiator school of Solstheim also seems to have toughened her up. Ever since returning to Vvardenfell she has been racking ass. She kills most baddies with one hit of Umbra. Only a few rare bosses are still standing after two hits, and not for long. It is funny that I have been reading the Elric books lately too. I sometimes want to shout "Blood and souls for Lord Arioch!"

That bleak Ghostfence background really highlights how spectacular PerseWind looks.
I love the mysterious towering spires of those ruins.
Dreamer? At first I thought it said Dwemer. Lol. Who is the dreamer?
Sounds like she is having fun exploring Morrowind, and those boots of levitation sound wonderfully helpful.

Kind of a haunting, if somewhat bleak, nightscape of the ashlands.
I love that levitation spell and the lavender rings beneath Persephone’s feet make her look like Judy Jetson.
Bonehead can’t even figure out how to get past the door?
Yay! Darryl!
M’aiq! Oh my goodness. It shouldn’t surprise me to see him in MW.

mALX: I did not even realize that Bagarn gives you a pair of levitating boots. Persephone has not been doing the main quest, and the last time I did was years ago. So I forgot all about it.
No worries, no Vilja here!
I love the water in Morrowind. It looks great from the surface, and does not get all green or foggy underwater (unless I changed that with a mod/.ini tweak and forgot!).
That big arch is on top of one of the barrows. It is the one with the young Skaal warrior who wants your help to kill a draugr. Persephone agreed to be a punching bag for him.
The moose were added by a mod.
Guess who created it!
The horker are friendly. I think they are the only vanilla animals on the island that don't attack you on sight. The waters around Solstheim are filled with them.
Darkness Eternal: The first time I ever saw a Grahl was in Treydog's Bloodmoon fan fic. They are a creepy monster, just undone by the age (and dated graphics) of the game they are in.
I have been having fun with Morrowind this time around. I have not touched it in years. The game has a lot of things I do not like. But now that I know about them, they don't bother me so much. I don't have any unrealistic expectations now, like I did the first time I played it years ago.
Persephone found a crashed airshipOn deckTeaming up with a draugrBattling Grendel The UderfrykteLuke didn't make it...The hall of the Frost GiantFacing off with King KarstaggPersephone is the Ice Queen nowWerewolfHircine the HunterWith the defeat of Hircine, Solstheim is once again back to normal. Well, what passes for it anyway. I ran into a few bugs afterward. The first was that something weird happened with Mortrag Glacier. I am guessing that the final battle with Hircine and his wolves was inside it. Because afterward it collapsed. But the old mesh of the intact glacier was still there, kind of. It was sort of half invisible, and I could walk through it. I am guessing it was supposed to be removed, but it didn't quite work out that way.
The other was Captain Carius. He was alive at the end of the first maze. So he is supposed to survive the endgame. When Persephone returned to Fort Frostmoth some of the legionaries said he had returned and he was in his office. But when I went there, there was no sign of him. OTOH, other legionaries just said there has been no sign of him since he disappeared. So something weird happened there.
All in all I prefer Solstheim in Skyrim. Not only is the landscape more interesting and varied, but the monster population is not as insanely dense. In Bloodmoon there is often a monster every twenty feet in every direction. You cannot fight one without the other nearby ones getting pulled in. And don't even think of trying to run or maneuver, because you will pull in even more monsters from nearby! That is why I often describe it as a gladiator school. It is a non-stop conveyer belt of combat. Even after I modded the game to make the bears and wolves friendly, I was still fighting constantly whenever I tried to walk around.
And the Rieklings! The ones on foot were no big deal. But the mounted ones all Reflect magic. That includes the magic effects of weapons. So you have to carry around a non-magical weapon to fight them with. that made killing them take forever, in an endless grind of button mashing until they were dead. I cannot imagine how bad it must be for mage characters to face them, since spells are useless. The same is true of the boss Riekling/Frost Giant Karstagg. I got so sick of it that I made a mod that removed the spell reflection from them.
Omg, our own Pseron Wyrd!!!! I never knew he made Morrowind mods !!! that is Awesome !!!
Aw geez, the crashed anomaly airship with the dead alien ashlander nearby! Did you find any alien ammo arrows nearby? Bwaahaa!
Another Darryl? Is this a follower or do you have her set in the "draugr faction?"
That is one scary looking Uderfryke with those fangs! Urgh!
Bwaahaa! I don't know the story behind the quest, but Luke looks like he opted for the soft landing from a high fall, lol. (still dying but without the sudden impact)
The "Hall of the Frost Giant" is spectacular! Morrowind was a bit back and forth with their graphics; some of them so breathtaking and others don't feel like the same game sometimes! But this one is one of their better times, really gorgeous!
Urgh, and they did a huge job on the frost giant himself! He looks just horrible; scary; terrifying!!! They did a great job on him! Was Persephone scared? How hard was the fight?
That throne is enormous! Urk, is that Ice King droppings in front of the throne?
Oh wow, I would have expected the werewolf to be bigger than the Player or NPC's!
Hircine looks scary as hell! Holy Crap!!!
Awesome Shots !!!!
It is a shame when developers don't know when "enough is enough" on spawning enemies. Once gameplay ceases to be fun I have a hard time slogging my way through. And having them reflect magic off your swords is a bit excessive too when they have hugely high hit points and the combat is as sluggish and awkward as Morrowind's combat system is. So glad they made the games mod-able to save it! (although I had a lot of trouble modding Morrowind.)
Really enjoyed this update!

Great landscape shots, the one of Sadrith Mora is my favorite. Morrowind is so much more beautiful without its native fog.

Dagoth Ur faced Persephone in nothing but his loincloth, I bet he thought she'd fall for his ripped belly.
Congratulations on killing Mr Ur and bringing light to Vvardenfell.
I hope she completes Tribunal too at some point. From what I recall, it has a captivating story though my favorite wasn't the main one but the one where you have to find out who's behind assassination attempts at your character.

Was she in Kogoruhn? That is most def Sixth House. And I might not remember whether it was Dagoth-Ur who was known as "The Dreamer," but I do remember that he said the Sixth House would rise again; and there is some lorebook in game that talks about how the children who survived the original sacking of the Sixth House were taken in and raised by the other houses - and that they all had similar dreams as they were growing up and heard a song when they slept that was the call to their heritage (whether they knew it or not) so they would kind of "find each other" through the dreams and song and rebuild the Sixth House.
Can you tell it has always fascinated me?
I did a piece on it for some writing contest over at the Official Bethesda forums called, "The Rise of Dagoth" = so yeah, I agree with you (now that I remember a bit about it) that Dagoth-Ur would have been the one they were referring to.
It (that phrase) was written in places in the game; all of them dungeons. One of the other writings is in Latin, and one in Daedric and written in blood; and in one of the three places you can also find the Sixth House symbol; but I can't remember which one.
I just love anything to do with the Sixth House, I think it is one of the greatest creations Bethesda put into the Elder Scrolls - it never ends, never has to end because Dagoth-Ur proved they could rise again - and would!
That Netch is amazing!!! It looks so much more graphicly perfect than so many other creatures in the game! I do love the Betty Netches in ESO (actually my first time seeing a Netch!)

Acadian: I really liked the Ashlands in Morrowind. They have a desolate beauty, in the way a desert landscape does (something I am sure you can relate to).
The Dwemer Ruins changed a bit from Morrowind to Skyrim. in MW they have tall, slender towers that tilt all over the place, topped with graceful curved roofs with sharply pointed spires. They look very much like fantasy castles that have fallen on hard times. Where in Sky they are big, thick towers with low, rounded domes. Very Byzantine looking. I think I liked the design of the MW version better.
I think it did come as a surprise to Vivec. In their conversation Persephone agreed to everything he said. In fact, she had even done some of the things he wanted her to. But apparently he never calculated that Dagoth Ur was not the only False God on the Living Dead Girl's hit list.
New Dawn was such a perfect image. The moment I saw it I knew I had to take a picture of that.
Lopov: I guess Umbacano made his fortune by robbing the glass mine he was in!
Vivec should have seen it coming. Persephone does not have the most amicable history with elves. Especially not ones who steal power from Shor/Lorkhan and pretend to be gods. She fought beside Pelinal Whitestrake after all, a real Shezarine. She knows both the wonder and horror that Shor's power brings all too well.
Dagoth should have brought at least a 12 pack, or a keg!

I think he is wearing a mask too though. At least I hope that is a golden mask, and not what his head really looks like!
It would be nice to complete Tribunal as well, and put a cap on the whole Morrowind experience. But I am just too burned out on that game right now. But I will probably get back to it someday.
mALX: Persephone did clean out Kogoruhn at some point. Her first time behind the GhostFence was from following its tunnels. That might be the place where the "Sleeper has awakened" writing was from.
Persephone no longer relies on levitation spells. She found the Boots of the Apostle early on, which made life in Morrowland much easier.
I think that stronghold in the Grazelands pic was Indoranyan. But I am not positive.
Morrowind has my favorite water in the ES games. I love how the surface rolls.

These next few shots really struck me, because when this game first came out it was a pioneer in great graphics, and now looking at these it kind of reminds me how far we have come in this past decade - but Morrowind did have some awesome graphics, I think they just don't photograph as well as they look in game; especially when taking distance shots - it is a shame, too; because it doesn't even begin to represent the feel of seeing Morrowind and being in it.
Wow, I never made it to Vivec Ci...GAAAAAAH!!!!! You killed Vivec? GAAAAAH!

And then they have some great graphics like these!!! Ooh, Keening!!!!
Dagoth-Ur !!!! WOO HOO !!!!! I'm dying to know what he looks like behind the mask, did you get to?
And the Numidium - freaky looking!!!!!
Holy Cow!!!! I've seen vids, but never seen screens of the confrontation with Ur!!! These are amazing!!!! THIS is when the quest writers were at their best, this and the Arena storyline - I didn't find the same thrill at all in the main questline of Skyrim, sad to say.
It is really hard to say this, especially with screens of Persephone battling Dagoth-Ur; the Heart of Lorkhan; etc. = but the shot of Persephone at the end in "A new dawn" - I can't believe that is my favorite shot!!!! Why = There was a real feeling in that shot of just coming out the other side of a tremendous battle she almost didn't survive; having come through and being able to look at the realm that will be forever changed (for the good) by it. That comes through in that screen. Has to be my favorite!
Awesome, AWESOME shots!!! This whole set goes amongst my top favorite screens of all in your thread !!!

Well! Hi again. Months ago I'd hoped to be adding updates on my Skyrim characters Warm Waters and Gorlash and my necromancer... So many characters! However my Laptop is still in the shop (since February or March) and after hearing Fallout 4 will not be getting mods for the PS4 (the only system I have that will run the damned game) a familiar itch has started up. An itch than manifested in a need to return to Tamirel~
Now, I'll admit, my original idea was to play Oblivion and return to one of my fav Xbox games only, you know, on the PC. I however have made a COLOSSAL mess of that game file trying to mod it. Well. Not colossal. But there are a lot of missing meshes with Better Cities and the guards are floating bald heads carrying error signs and... Its a mess. SO! Next in line.. Morrowind, my old love! I've spent the last few hours modding it a little. Adding in stuff like Better Bodies and Heads, a Needs mod.. Better clothing n Armor. The Official Plugins.. All that nice stuff and now? Now I would like to introduce
Morana Wolfblood my Nordic Mercenary gal. First night in Morrowind and shes already murdered some smugglers, bought herself some gear, and is ready to pick up where she left off before the Imperials snatched her up and tossed her in jail.

Well!

I'm currently playing a Silanu character in Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. In most of those, she's not my first character, but Morrowind is the exception.
She's doing unarmoured, long blade, with a bit of alchemy, destruction, restoration to back that up. Speechcraft has had to catch up in a hurry, as the game seems to depend on that more than I was expecting. I've got a minimum of mods to start with, just better bodies with DMRA to make her look like she should, and I've had to tailor her boots myself to make things fit. Fortunately she wears very little.
She could really use more health, but endurance has been shut out by her choice of armour and weapon. There's a catch-22 of not being able to use a spear to build it up because the lack of skill means it's not a viable weapon. She gets killed by rats if she tries to fight with a spear.
I haven't really got an impression yet on pacing the quests. There are a lot of places where there a minimum level requirements for quests to stop you getting them too soon, but of course, no indication that you'll find them much easier later. And with some having levelled enemies, that may not be the case.
She's doing Fighters, Mages, Imperial Cult, Hlaalu on the side, and trying to judge which ones help her forward.
She's just done the quest at the Ashlander burial site, and picked up Magebane, which may become her main weapon for a time.

Silanu is starting to run into the problem of not be able to advance in the house/guild ranks because she doesn't have enough levels in secondary skills. She's doing well in Long Blade (100) and Unarmored (75) and Speechcratft and Destruction are close to 50 as well. But most of the neglected skills (other weapons, L/M/H Armor) are still below 10. I probably made the "wrong" decisions at the start, but really hadn't chosen her path at that point.
Endurance remains an issue. Her only option for building that is to learn Spear, it seems.
Edit: I'm letting her buy a whole lot of training. She can easily afford it, and that's probably the only way she'll get enough skill levels to finish her House Stronghold.
----
An another subject, I'm playing around in the CS with a custom race, to see if Diablita can come to Morrowind. Creating a race with a custom body mesh and texture is working so far. I haven't made the hair/horns yet, but understand how to do that. The one issue left is finding out whether she can have a tail without beast animations. Even though her legs will be hooved, with a raised ankle joint, she still wants to walk like a man/mer, rather than an Argonian or Khajiit.
Edit: It does appear that the tail is tied to the "Beast" option on the race, and so comes with all the jerky walk animations etc. that I don't like. I can still give her a rigid tail, but that's just as bad. However, there are mods for things like animated wings, so maybe she'll get a tail that isn't a "tail".
On the plus side, she now has hair, horns, lower legs/hooves as intended, and has started to quest. I'll be seeing how Mash's profiles work out in Morrowind. Oblivion's worked well, Skyrim's were not so good, and needed manual resetting of the active mod list when switching.
She still needs some "outfit" work - piercings, chains etc. Lower-poly versions of the Oblivion ones should work. Silanu will probably benefit from that research, too.
She's arrived, and looking (not very hard) for things she can wear. Apparently rings, amulets and belts will all fit properly

Since I made a Diablita, I needed an Angeline, too. That's easier, as she's just a blonde Breton in a lace dress. Except that I had to mix-and-match one hair shape with another's texture to get what I wanted. I did find the right dress in Korana's collection of mods, but had to translate the names into English before I could use it.
I'm finding it hard to get her started. I'm trying to play her as a mage, but she has little health that way and also runs out of magicka too quickly. I gave her a minor skill of spear, so she can build her health up, but probably should have made it major, as she can't hit anything yet.
Meanwhile Silanu is getting into her stride, and has just started the last phase of her Stronghold, and collecting support for Hortator. She's now wielding
Chrysamere instead of Magebane, and that thing hits HARD!
(I'm getting very tempted to try and make an actual outfit of stars.)

And I almost forgot. Diablita now has a pitchfork at last. Equivalent to a steel spear for now.

Since Khajiit was not here during her formative years, here is some background.
I was trying to create an
Oblivion mod that provided a pair of companions, Diablita and her sister Angeline. I ran into some insurmountable problems with it, and it never got published, but it did make its way into the Gweden Report story
here.
Since then, Clark moved on to Skyrim, still not being the player character, and I chose Diablita to be the
Dragonborn in his narrative, and recreated her there. Angeline was human, not elven, so she's long dead. Clark got made immortal, for services rendered to Daedric Princes.
My main Morrowind character for playing is also a transplant from Oblivion. Silanu Hlaalu is Falanu's sister, and one of the early
residents of Gweden. She needed a custom body, so I starting making/adjusting Morrowind mods, which led to the Diablita/Angeline ones. I want (at least) three characters, so I can do each Great House line. Plus as many combat styles as possible, ...
Diablita currently has a mesh issue. In trying to make her leg seam blend better, I've made parts of them disappear completely!
Silanu has just been made Hortator of House Hlaalu, and is deciding between the next House quest, and the other Hortator quests to do next. We're also chasing the level/reputation path for the Fifth bypass, as the Ashlander ones look like a lot of walking (and therefore cliff racers).

Silanu, Diablita and Angeline are progressing nicely, and each has just about completed the Great House quest series I assigned to them. (Diablita's legs re-appeared when I deleted a trailing space on a name in the .nif).
Silanu has done well with a big sword, Diablita with her pitchfork, and Angeline is using magic (although mostly Bound Spear, as she needs the Endurance/Health), so I didn't have an archer. Enilwen has now made the transition back from Oblivion, using regular and Bound bows. She's having slight problems with not advancing strength and endurance very fast, with only Armorer as a strength skill, and spear for endurance when they get too close.
I had to use the console to fix Diablita's game, as doing things out of order can break quests. When it's part of chain of quests, that breaks the whole series. Loading an earlier save was not an option, as too much had happened that I didn't want to repeat on other quest lines.
Nobody has the expansions active yet. I'll wait until the Main Quest is done.
Edit: Still no tail on Diablita, but I've installed LizTail's Animation Kit that promises to make that possible. I've also been working on clothing for the modified body shapes, after noting that most of Korana's are based on the same few meshes with varied textures using transparency. If I modify those base meshes to fit around the adjusted bodies, then all her clothes will work. Her spear (cloned from her original one at present) is now roughly daedric-equivalent in stats (but not actually daedric material).
Started Enilwen the archer (as nobody was yet using that skill). She'll likely not do any house quests, and just explore while following the MQ line as she levels up.

Anybody recognize
this character from my Oblivion game, now transplanted to Morrowind?
I didn't make the body mod, just fitted the outfit to it. It's not complete, as I'm working on stockings, shoes, etc. to go with it, but the basic dress mesh is simply re-textured with various degrees of transparency for different lengths of sleeves and skirt, so this is just one of many.
The texture is from Korana's Clothiers of Vaardenfell, which has at least twenty based on the same mesh. She did the same with a pants mesh, and a torso mesh (for undies etc.) There's also a skirt-only subset of the dress mesh. Each of those has multiple textures applied, so I'll soon have the entire stock converted.
She needs different hair. That's just one of the two blond options in the Westly's head replacer I'm using. I can easily adapt a different style by mixing and matching meshes and textures intended for other races, and from other sources. Ditto with shoes. The body mod doesn't replace the feet, so there are lots of options. I'd like to find ones that cover the ankle join between the meshes, as the inventory pose distorts that.
I doubt if I'll bother releasing any Morrowind Mods, but you never know. If Diablita gets her tail ...

Angeline has paused after completing the Fourth and Fifth trials, to build herself up before going inside the Ghostfence to do that final huge quest. So she's going back to building Tel Uvirith, which had been on hold while she built up the ability to trap the right grand souls. That means she needs to advance her Telvanni rank to Master (which means Archmagister, as she already did the deed on her way to Hortator). So she's spending a lot of time at Tel Vos, and doing those quests. Buying a lot of training that I should have given her before now, to build up her stats.
Diablita is still looking for a tail, but progressing on the Ashlander quests to catch up with her sister on those. She already did her Redoran House quest line, however. The Hlaalu and Redoran strongholds are easier to get started, as they don't have the requirement for two grand souls that Tel Uvirith does. She'll probably head for Ald Daedroth next.
Silanu (Hlaalu Grandmaster) is at much the same point as Diablita, but has done a lot more miscellaneous quests, including Imperial Cult, and higher levels of Mages/Fighters Guild ones. She's been chasing artifacts more than questlines. She was the "explorer" character by design, so has probably made a lot of build mistakes.
Enilwen and Heidi are just getting started, and are having more training sessions than the other did, so they don't out-level themselves. Enilwen is doing Marksman, and I may try out the throwing weapons soon. Heidi will use Heavy Armour, as the others have all been Unarmoured (because of their signature outfits, and because the skill is only in Morrowind). Neither has joined a Great House, or Factions other than Fighters/Mages which they mainly use for training. They'll advance just enough to open all trainers.
I just noticed that there are significant steps in equipment stats between "beginner" gear, and the advanced stuff. Separating things into Light/Medium/Heavy means that you don't move up through them, unless you swap styles on the way. I know you can mix and match, but some combos just don't look right, even if they work well! Heidi will stay in Steel, until she can use Ebony, which will more than triple her AR.
I have the Anthology, so I installed Tribunal and Bloodmoon for the executable upgrades, but have not enabled the esm's yet for anyone. It's possible that I'll do so for either Enilwen or Hedi, to see how they interact with the early game. The other three will wait until the Morrowind MQ is completed.

I just placed them next to him in Seyda Neen with the console. They really need a starting location to find them. Any suggestions?

Diablita's solo game has just finished the MQ (barely, as wielding Keening with a Short Blade skill of 5 made it harder). She'll have Tribunal enabled while her sister and some friends catch up in their own games.
She and Angeline are continuing to accompany Clark, and I'll be working out some code to level her pitchfork, so she can continue to use that instead of needing inventory management by the player.

Jan 23 2017, 04:51 PM
I gave Diablita a steel pitchfork at the beginning of her game, and upgraded that much later to a Daedric one (cloning the stats of the respective spears). She needed to embue the latter with a nominal enchantment to let it affect all enemies, and that will become important for her companion version. She used a fire damage / soul trap combo, so it fed itself (via Azura's star), but I'm wondering what would be a good enchantment for a companion? I'd also like to come up with an intermediate level of pitchfork between the two.
Steel spear/pitchfork: Chop 2-5, Slash 2-5, Thrust 6-17,
Daedric spear/pitchfork: Chop 2-9, Slash 2-9, Thrust 6-40, so
Intermediate: Chop 2-7, Slash 2-7, Thrust 6-28? That's about half-way between the dwarven and the ebony.
My current ideas:
Enchanted weapon at all levels - minimal fire damage of 1 to n points, with the upper level increasing between the three level of weapon.
Weapon should be preferable to any the player normally finds - with exceptions for the uniques. Her skills should bias toward spears, anyway.
Intermediate wants a distinct appearance, so maybe Dwarven? or Glass (which may be too high-level).
Angeline is more flexible, and I'm using her as an archer with Thudd (my big axe-wielding Orc). Both companions need a reason not to use alternate apparel, so Unarmored is a key factor, and I may have to script a "nothing else" limitation. I want keeping them alive to be part of the challenge, but not so much that it takes over.

Jan 25 2017, 11:09 PM
An interesting observation from last night's play.
I needed to take on a tough, heavily-armoured opponent, and since my character had legitimately acquired an Amulet of Shadows, she used it, but found that her companions were quickly slaughtered. So I reloaded, told them to wait while Thudd did all the work. Their usual path-blocking behaviour suddenly became an asset, as they kept my opponent confined and he couldn't run away! As non-combatants, they didn't get attacked, and it was all much easier.
I need to do some work on their script, and
make a mesh for the middle pitchfork. Adapted one from the Dwarven halberd, by doubling up the longer side and reshaping a little. Still needs the script change to replace it at an appropriate level.
ghastley
Jan 30 2017, 03:58 PM
Development on the Angeline and Diablita mod continues, but the latest change meant that I had to start a fresh character, as they now need personal scripts, instead of being able to share one.
So Thudd has been parked, just as she became Hortator of all the houses. "Hortator, that's a special kind of Hor, ain't it?"
I've rolled up Delilah, an Imperial in a black (thin) silk dress, with lots of personality, and endurance, and big hair. She's just reached level 4, and Diablita has the second pitchfork.
I now need to enshrine that need in her level-up script. That runs when the player levels up, so the obvious thing is to make the pitchfork level depend on player level, but I may base it on D's own skill with a spear. But if that's always going up at the same time, it may be moot.

Silanu just discovered that while wearing the Boots of Blinding Speed, she can get master-level training in Unarmored (Khargol gro-Boguk in the Vacant Tower near Dagon Fel). At last they're actually useful!
She now is at level 100 in both Long Blade and Unarmored, has 100 strength, and is desperately catching up on some others in preparation for a visit to Red Mountain. She may even visit Mournhold first, as there are spells you just can't buy anywhere else. She'd like to enchant a Constant Effect Fortify Unarmored on something, for example, and Fortify Skill is a rare effect.
Delilah may go get those boots, too. She's still trying to build up her Endurance, and will switch to throwing things once she's maxed that out. The visit to Dagon Fel for the training probably has an optimum level, and I'm trying to figure that out. Part of the equation will be easy use of the Greater Mark/Recall spells from the mod Improved Teleportation that lets Angeline and Diablita travel with her. Those added spells allow multiple locations to be marked, but the spells are harder to cast - higher skill / more magicka.

Feb 3 2017, 03:36 PM
Thudd took a trip to Caldera, then walked up the road to find Pemenie, and took her to Gnaar Mok. With the Boots of Blinding Speed in her possession, she took a boat trip to Dagon Fel, and took a Master Class in Unarmoured from the Orc in the Vacant Tower, so now she has 100 in that skill, to go with her 100 Strength, and Endurance. It was expensive, but she's not wearing all those glass pieces, so she sold them.
Her Axe skill needs to be next, as well as some magical skills, so she can Enchant successfully. Not just Enchant itself, but others that raise Intelligence. If that helps with spells she uses, it's a bonus.
Since adding the twins required turning on Tribunal and Bloodmoon, she'll do a trip to get a Fortify Skill spell to use in enchanting. Fortifying her Unarmoured well past 100 will make it comparable to using Heavy. She's happy with her Orcish Battle-axe, and doesn't see anything in the game she likes better, but it may get enchanted in case of normal-immune enemies, and for a bit of extra damage as needed. I'm thinking of a "When used" rather than an "On Strike" enchantment, just for the tough ones.
---
Silanu did the quest to get the Ice Blade of the Monarch, and she's giving that a try. It has slightly lower base damage than Chrysamere, but more than makes up for it with the magical damage, while that's available. I'm not generally happy with weapons that can run out of charge, but this may be enough to win before it does so, and it's not a weak weapon when discharged.
---
Delilah is still low-level, and letting the twins do most of the work, as she's really testing them, rather than doing her own thing. I'm getting a decent idea of appropriate stats for the pitchforks, and may even need to add another at the top end. A regular Daedric spear is not all that powerful a weapon, and she could use a "unique" level one eventually.

I need to create a published mod before I decide I've "done" Morrowind, and it could either be the Angeline/Diablita companion set, or more likely just some rigged hair. I need to make that for those two, and I have a few player characters who want theirs rigged. It has taken a lot of fiddling and experimentation to find out how the one mod (MacKom's Skinned Hair) does it. That unfortunately only works with MacKom's heads, as the ears are part of the head, not the hair. Since all other head replacers don't have ears, I'm doing my own.
I've made quite a few outfits for the various characters I use, mostly because what they wanted to wear didn't fit their body (and I've tried most of them - Better Bodies, Roberts, DMRA, and my own edited variants of each of those), but because nobody else would have the same requirements, they'll stay private.

Thudd, the big Orc with the battleaxe, defeated Dagoth Ur last night, and will likely move on to Mournhold. She's trying to get the hang of enchanting first, so she can boost her Unarmoured with some Constant Effect items.
Her Diablita has been testing the unimesh hair (all parts including ears are a single NiTriShape with a single texture) that is the first step to rigged hair. I'm getting there slowly with the rigged hairstyles, and have only one fully working.
Hedi has had a change of hair (to a MacKom rigged style similar to her old one) and a change of body. She's now using a modifed Roberts mesh, which means her dress doesn't fit any more, but will soon. Since she wears the Fists of Ranagulph as part of her heavy armour outfit, she's at 123 strength somehow.
Delilah's hair keeps going wrong, but she's moved along a bit and is now looking for the Cavern of the Incarnate.
Silanu, and the player character instances of Angeline and Diablita get fired up from time to time, too. Enilwen the Archer may be the next to take on Dagoth Ur.

Thudd went to Mournhold, and has only a couple of quests before she confronts Almalexia. However, one of those requires some artifacts for the museum, so she'll have to do local quests to get some, or return to Vaardenfell for a while.
I got somewhat distracted by the process of creating skinned hair that doesn't clip into the back and shoulders when the head moves. Both Diablita and Angeline have hair that does so. I'm also experimenting with other bodies for Diablita, as I may wish to create a non-nude option for her, and it would also be nice to have her chains and tattoos from Oblivion, although as a transparent texture, rather than modelled.
The hair problem has also led me to investigate hats as separate clothing items (not linked to hair) using one of the available BB extra slots. This grew from investigating equippable ears, as the skinned hair came without them. That's still in the mix, as it would be fun to equip earrings, too (probably by swapping ears). I'm not sure if the chargen could be made to provide an extra option, or if hair and ears, (or head and ears) have to stay bound together. I suspect it's in the engine, but I hope I'm wrong.

Thudd is on the last quest of the main sequence in Tribunal, and finding that it's built to require certain skills and spells that she simply doesn't have, so we reloaded to let her gear up a bit.
She's unreasonably fond of her Orcish battle-axe, mostly because its minimum damage is higher than usual, even though the max isn't anything that special. She prefers 28-35 to 1-80 even though the average damage per swing is less, perhaps because progress is steady, not erratic.
Adding an enchantment to bring it up a little is on the cards. She has a Golden Saint soul in Azura's star, and was working on doing her own enchantments, when I find out how the "chance to fail" works. It looks like she needs to boost her Enchant skill, intelligence, and luck all at the same time to get any reliable results. I'd intended a constant effect boost to unarmoured first, but a weapon damage on strike may be what we do.
I've reworked her body mesh to bulk up her arm muscles, which looked a bit thin compared with the rest of her, and I'm researching ways to have the player character separate from the rest of her race. At least in Morrowind, each race has a separate mesh, so only the Orc women are big, or should that be BIG!!
I've also rolled up a Redguard to play with "Short Spears". I'm trying to create a one-handed Spear weapon, but so far it has to be classified as a long blade, probably because of animations, and so using them adds to the experience for that skill. The sword thrust animation looks OK, and with the damage stats biased that way, it gets used like a spear.
Example 1 Example 2 The rest of her gear is new, but doesn't break any new ground.

I'd been working on Diablita's hair, trying to get it rigged to the skeleton, so it wouldn't clip into her back when she looked up. So that meant revisiting her solo game.
When I left off, she'd just defeated Dagoth Ur, and I didn't have the expansions active. Thudd had been to Mournhold, so Diablita got Solstheim. She was only level 20, so needed a bit more training, and has had to go back for more a few times.
In particular the quest to get the Nord eco-protester away from the mine entrance meant a few levels back in Vaardenfell raising her Hand-to-hand skill (from 5!). Now she's actively hunting for the unarmed berserkers and having a naked fist-fight to raise it further. I think I managed to catch a few non-indecent screenshots; I'll run through and pick some out soon.
Incidentally, most of the berserkers have been carrying the bear helm and boots in inventory, but not wearing them. I thought it was a consistent bug, until the last one I met was wearing both. Now I just don't know what's going on.
We found the smugglers quest a bit beyond us, so her Legion comrade is patient waiting back at the Fort for her to level up some more. Mus Roscius went down, but the others band together, and are a bit too much. Once her health can stand up, we'll be back! I let her use the Boots of Blinding Speed to train Unarmoured up to max, although she shouldn't really be able to wear them. That will help, too, as the game expects you to use at least Medium, or be a spell-caster. Naked with a pitchfork wasn't in the design.
She's about half-way through the Raven Rock quests, about to get into a bar brawl.

Mar 13 2017, 06:16 PM
Diablita has now completed the Raven Rock quests, and has her house there. She's done most of the Skaal Village quests, too, and just has one more before the Hircine one (which I assume will be lengthy and hard, like the final quests in the base game and Tribunal.)
I restarted Clark, to test the latest changes to the Diablita and Angeline companion mod scripts. He's doing the Legion quests, as none of the ladies wanted to wear a uniform, so they haven't been done before.
Thudd's game was put on hold in the final Tribunal quest, as she has no way of passing the "speed trap", so I need to reload before the Clockwork City entry and go get an appropriate spell, and/or lighten her load enough to carry the elixirs the fabricants drop. Considering that she has no armour, and 120 strength with Ranagulf's gauntlets, she's carrying a lot of clutter right now.
Lwanda is still playing with short spears and throwing weapons. She's done a couple of Hortator/Nerevarine sets, but hasn't completed either trial yet. I'm wasting her playing time looking for a way to make her shield not lower her defence rating (she has 100 Unarmoured now, so adding ANY shield lowers defence!)
Angeline is putting her feet up at Tel Uvirith, and contemplating re-decoration/rebuild, while her identical twin runs around with Clark. Silanu may get a run at Dagoth Ur soon. She'll need a bit of fill-in training first, to raise a few stats and overall level.

Edit: I also took my Bosmer archer Enilwen to go battle Dagoth Ur, but she met one more Greater Bonewalker than she had Restore Strength potions, and had to return to Ald'ruhn for a re-stock. She does have Sunder and Keening, so she can make a more direct approach on her next trip. We'll probably also pay the mudcrab a visit, to sell off her heavy loot, so that won't be an issue next time.
Prior characters have all had 100 Strength by this time, but as an archer, she's maxed Agility instead. I need to adjust my play style to match hers.

Today (3/21) she managed to get back there, missed a shortcut, but eventually re-entered the Citadel and killed Dagoth Ur, or rather did the heart-disable that eliminates him. Again the collapse of Akulakhan failed to happen - I've had it work only once in three visits - but the quest advanced anyway.
My replacement Azura (Daggerfall-style) was bald. I have some issue with her hair alpha that I'm still trying to figure out, but I have a save just before the scene so I can re-test as much as I like.

Hah! Found one!
This is about the only screen capture without flailing boobies showing all over.
I shot a series with one wearing the bear helm, but they'd all need retouching.
